The executive summary:

The guy served is the owner of MonsterCockTube.com/Antelope Media/Alphamale Cash.

He was outside of the U.S. (it says he's German...couldn't ascertain if that is where he lives and/or operates out of) and avoided being served on a copyright infringement suit. Titan says he was avoiding them.

He came to Internext and they took the opportunity to serve him on U.S. soil.

That is the gist of the story posted on the gay board by Titan.

More and more gay studios are taking on an in-house general counsel. I am not sure if Titan is one of them, but they've been extremely proactive on copyright infringement and other studios are redoubling their efforts.

Where they live it makes sense. At the Westin Diplomat not so much. I'd be more concerned if I need security i'd change my acquitances lol. However I think it was mostly for show which is fine. By day two the security guys were just waiting in the lobby. They must have been sweating balls in the heat that's for sure.

Bringing security to a club can be a good idea especially if you got cash, jewels or chicks.

I could totally see having protection if they are International. Especially if they are a big earner and live in a country notorious for kidnappings for ransom.

At a resort in South Florida, not so much, but maybe he didn't know. Or, maybe he has a great security team that insists on protecting him at all times; or at least until they can ascertain the threat level.

I see the thread but it does not say this was the same guy with the bodygaurds. Unless I am looking at the wrong board.

CIVMatt 08-10-2009 07:13 AM

We were wondering how those guys were, most the time they were just walking around by themselves, all I could think was "Enjoy the florida humidity asshat"

lazycash 08-10-2009 07:24 AM

LC is big pimpin now.

Dirty D 08-10-2009 08:20 AM

This has nothing to do with any gay program.

So far there are only three people in this thread that are even close :)

I saw them too. At first I was thinking about Ibill's guys as well :1orglaugh

IF it was a marketing thing, then THIS IS THE DUMBEST Plan I ever seen. You want to go to a show and be approachable and meet people, not keep them away... Anyway, we all know Multi-millionaires from this biz and they were in Shorts an Flip-Flops all week-end long serving beers to their clients/friends.

On the other hand IF it was true, and they are form the biz, WHO IN HELL think that he needs protection at a convention where you have almost one security guard for every 10 some people?

So either they're n00bs and don't really know what our community is about OR they made something really bad in the past, so they should have stayed home either way :2 cents:

gocubbiesjess 08-10-2009 09:53 AM

I remember seeing them a lot too, with their aviator sunglasses and dark suits. I thought they were just trying to look cool so I didn't care enough to ask them....I could use a bodyguard though...or I'd like one...lol

Varius 08-10-2009 10:00 AM

Some of the guesses in this thread were hilarious :upsidedow

I work pretty cheap, pretty much just feed me and give me a place to stay and I'm good. :thumbsup I'm kidding but I probably would just for a change of scenery.:1orglaugh:1orglaugh

As far as those guys go though I can understand the logic if they are from outside the US and have never been or only rarely been. Talking to people out of the country that have never been here I hear all the weirdest shit. They think people get shot everywhere all the time just for walking down the street, people are always getting robbed in every city big and small and that America is such a super dangerous place.

I've been to hands down the shittiest parts of Phoenix and I've only been shot at a handful of times for no reason.

C-Luv 08-10-2009 10:03 AM

No shit lots of my European friends think crime is a bigger problem in the USA than it is. They don't realize you usually have to go to the hood to see crime.

TheAmericanCannibal 08-10-2009 10:06 AM

Rumor has it, it was Ben from Holland's Bodyguards, Metro's muscle-
They were afraid JFK may be put a cap in Ben's ass...a LENSCAP

Yup. Some guy from some small ass country I can't even remember went off on how dangerous America is... I think they see rap and metal videos from over here and think that's how life is haha.

Mirage 08-10-2009 11:41 AM

I think one of them was actually the boss, biut nobody told them he has to actulally look different than the others to make sense.

The Principal live in outside of the USA. I never met the security guards, but saw the Principal on thursday getting badges. I hardly recognized him, he looks amazing. Anyways, considering his former partner has threatened my life overseas, I can see why the security.

How did everyone see these guys, and I had a meeting and we always kept missing each other? Damn it.

Whatever fucker, how did I miss your ass at this show? Looks like I'll be down your part of the world soon.

Rinaldo 08-10-2009 11:59 AM

I actually stood next to one of the guys while I was in the gift shop. He was buying gum. He was friendly enough to me, the suits stood just outside of the gift shop.
You see a lot of guys at the shows with years of beef and they shake hands. I've seen one fight at a show and he deserved it.
I think the security was unnecessary.

When I've needed security, for example when I'm hosting a party or something, I just call up a cop buddy of mine and he comes over with three or four guys. They dress normal, party like everyone else, but they're ready for whatever, whenever. Best to keep your security on the downlow to keep the vibe nice and light.

And no, they won't bust anybody. Nobody parties harder than off-duty cops and they LOVE naked bitches lol

MaDalton 08-10-2009 12:49 PM

why is it such a fucking secret who they were? obviously a lot of people know

ShellyCrash 08-10-2009 12:51 PM

Some of the people I talked with thought it was an act and that the guys in suits did content in some form or another. I never saw them guarding anyone, just milling about.

I don't know who they were there with, but I do agree with what others are saying, having body guards and being less approachable kind of defeats the purpose of being at the show. If you're just there for the eye candy there are cheaper more bountiful ways to acheive that in the miami - ft lauderdale area.

No self-respecting ninja would ever carry Nunchaku :winkwink:

My personal company is actually named "Stormshadow" though :)

didn't stop me punching the guy in the head one year. Dude was hating on women and being a total prick. Tried to gatecrash a party we were attending and the host asked me to stop him from coming in.

I did.

He left.

I was acting as an undercover bodyguard for 2 Live Crew. Whew, glad my cover wasn't blown.
