One way or two way? This is a bad deal.

look at Atp<dot>.nl for Amsterdam - Munchen
or cheaptickets<dot>.nl
or: lufthansa<dot>com

KLM is many times more expensive, but not always better

Train is more expensive by nshispeed<dot>nl
there must be a nighttrain to Munich for 29 euro.

Wont be attending this year, due to the fact that Im fresh into recovery for my Alcoholism... But I will be there in 2010 for sure...

If anyone's reading this, and thinking, 'Should I go? Is it worth it?' The answer is a big yes!

Have a great time guys (and girls) :)

So no repeat of last year's escapade huh? I think I am relieved. ;)

7,30 hours
nshispeed<dot>nl

By train you can walk to central station and leave. If you go by plane you have to go Schiphol and be there 2 hours before the plane leaves. I think a plane is 2-3 hours faster.

ok cool

so it seems the train is easier and you get to see lots of things along the way but 2-3 hours longer, yes? What is the best way to buy a ticket ahead of time or is that not necessary?

http://www.nshispeed.nl/ - tickets here...

i dont think its necessary to buy them ahead, you can buy them directly at the train station. but better be safe than sorry. although i assume you would go 1st. class and i doubt they are full.

and yes, train is not much less time compared to a flight if you count everything together

25 minutes to the hotel!!!!!

I fly in Sunday afternoon. Anyone want advice or realistic info about the Oktoberfest trip then hit me up.

I'll also tell you about Thursday's unannounced all you can drink and tolerate bad metal night at The Cave.

Hi,

Going to and from Amsterdam to Germany and back again do you recommend the train or the flight for first timers without taking too much of a time difference. Also what hotel do you recommend that is close to the sold out Raddison in Amsterdam?
