i had no idea she won video of the year and then did not win female video of the year. well aside from myself thinking her video sucked something fierce. there was nothing to it, nothing at all.
not sure who gave her video of the year but they must be fucked up as well. if it was mtv again then that just makes matters worse. though i pretty much dislike all award shows unless they are audience choice type. then i can perhaps get why someone would win.

Honestly, the video is ok...well shot and produced, but just kind of a lame boring idea IMO. The worst thing though is the fucking song...good god, one of the worst #1 songs in recent memory besides Hollaback Girl and definitely not one of her better songs. My mother gets free tix to AI concerts every year, and at this year's one I got subjected to Lil Rounds singing that song. She sung it about as well as Beyonce but I couldn't wait for the fucking thing to end.

What I'm surprised about is why in this day and age when an entity that barely shows music videos anymore giving out video awards causes any drama whatsoever. I bet 95% of people talking about this incident weren't watching the VMAs to begin with - no one would give a shit except for this type of controversial crap happening.
