I tip as I play.. if I'm not winning they get no tips, if I'm rocking it they make some money too. I almost always bet the dealers tip too. I had to work for my winnings, so will they.
I play aggressive but I tell people when I am. I normally only do it late at night, with 4 or less people at the table. I can't see very well so less people makes it easier for me to do a +1/0/-1 count. While progressive betting can be fun and stupid at the same time, mixing it in with a count can greatly pay off. Sometimes you're just wrong, progressive betting will save your ass.... or it can end your night. Tipping at the end I reserve for craps dealers that worked the table like a busy whore or other players that make me a shit load of money. |

I play for myself and different positions and player styles can make or break your game so assess players. If the dealer has a face card I would be more willing to take another face and hope for a smaller card as statistically you will win more then by standing. Maybe if i'm half inebriated ill toss chips all over, but I would just then one of your lowest value chips - it really makes no difference lol. |

I went back to the casino this morning, and played for 4-5 hours. Made another $750.00 take home. Tipped out the drink lady, and dealer. So that was $1200 or something over two days. Bought in for $100.00 each day, and that $1200 was the profit after tip outs. Keep in mind. I have never played this game more than the two times in the casino, and maybe a time or two at the adult shows. So I barely know what I am doing. Although I did write down the GFY tips. :winkwink: Others at the table were still going ape shit tonight about newbie play, myself and others, and claiming this card was theirs, or they saved you, or made you a mint, blah blah blah. Kinda funny to me. All these people believing in the great joe-boo and shit. :1orglaugh |

google "toke rate" usually at most casinos the casino takes it and pools it.... then it gets divided up by the dealers who worked. for instance at the borgata in AC towards the end of shifts you will see dealers filling racks of chips in closed down craps tables... those are tips. |

usually you will find the more experienced players at $25+ min bet tables... i prefer no midshoe entry...but usually just play to have a good time and blow some money :) |

I just play when there's a noob player inside... hahaha

I like doubling down on a 12 and watching the pit boss go ballistic.

Three nights in a row practicing. Here are a few other tips I picked up, for myself.
1. Never play at a table with less than 3 people. You do not break up the 18-21 cards on dealer and get them to bust. Especially on those shoots with 4-5 decks in em. 2. Play in the evening, not the night time. You are more likely to play with 3-6 players. 3. Do not pay attention to those who think the table, cards, boogie man or card counting is going to help you. 4. 90% of the time you are playing to break even. So you must be patient. The only time you are going to make money, IMHO, is on splits, and double down type situations. 5. Name your price. I go in with $100.00 and my goal is to leave with $100.00. Anything beyond that is gravy. I build up my $5/10 chips. Then after I have 2-300.00 in those, I switch to green/$25. I build up a few stacks of those, and then get more aggressive with betting. Once those $5/10 chips are gone. I leave with my green stacks. :2 cents: |
One more thing,
I do agree with the others who've said something to the effect of tipping them if you are winning, won some money whatever. However, there are others you do not tip. I have found there are some $5 an hour dealers who love talking shit to you, and take great delight banging your dick in to eliminate your stacks. Then others who are very helpful and will advise you along the way on basic strategies and what not. |
