How about using your garden hose?

Just turn on the faucet and hose the mutt's ass down.

It might take a little longer but that would seem a rather more civilized solution.

My dog lives outside in his pen, so I don't wipe his ass for him.

However, I raise Persians and Himalayans and they have to be shaved back there often or we have to cleanup some serious messes, especially the babies. YUCK!!
