Sales have plateaued. Our ROI isn't worse. Our paysite business is actually more profitable this year than last but that has nothing to do with the actual sales. I have to say the increase in bank rebill declines really suck ass but that isn't because of tubes.

We are seeing some huge growth. GayTube is absolutely out of this world. Best thing we've done in the past 2 years.

This industry has always had waves of big money makers. If you hop on the right ones you make a shitload of money.

I am 100000% positive that you spend more on content that our companies do - as we haven't ran paysites since 1998.....

I also know in my 15 yrs in this biz online that I truly love my industry (most days anyway) and what is happening now is beyond words....

People that steal from our industry one day or all days can come online the next day and look for ad revenue - what a shame......

My companies have done 10's of millions in sales over the years and I want to make sure that our industry stays alive......

This means that even cams and dating wont keep the tubes afloat.

The fact that they had to come to gfy to try and sell their shitty freeloader traffic speaks volumes for their business model.

It's funny how our industry is all up in arms when we steal from each other. It's ok to steal from surfers/clients but not cool to steal from each other. Is that the message? Because for the past 10 years a shitload of programs have been stealing from the client and nobody has said shit about it. Now that some people have started to steal from other programs stealing is a big deal.

I guess my question is why should I give a shit about anybody else in this industry when they never give a shit about the end user. The end user is what propels and fuels everything we all do. For years they've been abused and the message was FUCK THE SURFER I only care about the $$$.

When did anybody in this industry care about ethics and morals? I've always tried to stand up for the one person that keeps us all in this business. Everybody said Shut the fuck up and rape that guy. Now that I do business with someone who is following a law, one that really sucks, I'm a dickhead who doesn't care about the industry.

The one big downside to the low cost of entry to our industry is that it's filled with a bunch of retards.

I have had some good relationships with companies over the years - they made tons of revenue and so did I but yes deep down I did know that some of there billing practices were def. borderline...

I will admit that, ok.... but 2 wrongs don't make a right and I never knew of a company I worked with that blatantly stole from webmasters.....

We can all make excuses for the business we have done or currently do but the facts are plain and simple...

Remember one thing - some companies and people have long memories of what other companies did in the past and who they associate themselves with.....

You cant argue with the fact ever since gfy ( aka playboy ) has been advertising sites/brokers/etc that give away their content ( i.e. rip them off ) their stock has plummeted. If i was a stockholder i would want to know what playboy is doing to increase my/playboys value, selling adspots to sites that give away their videos and advertise lolita pictures doesn't seem very productive or profitable.

Infact i would start to wonder if certain people at playboy werent intentionally killing the company. I would wonder if a playboy employee was given some sweet partnership deal to sieve its traffic and value via gfy.

GFY IS the industry right now, yet i doubt it's given much mention at stockholder meetings, when without a doubt its very influential to the industry and to playboy's health.

We all turned a blind eye and let it happen. Now we wonder why people won't pay for porn and why tube sites continue to explode. It doesn't take a rocket scientist. We fucked ourselves. We let people steal from the consumer now we are crying for the consumer to come back.

Should companies turn down say $500,000 yearly business with a tube site just to make a stand only to see their top competitor jump all over that? You know how it is. If you sit on the sidelines you are going to lose out in the long run. You think AFF regrets having the policies they had? I know what you are saying but nobody is ever willing to take a stand.

Dave, Hank hit the nail on the head here. If you really were pissed you'd do something that actually mattered, like stop posting, by posting on here you bring more thread views that just make GFY more money, and in turn also bring the people who skin the board more as well.

Maybe not go to anymore webmaster access shows, if you don't support them, they can't continue to do things and will need to rethink.

I dont think those theories i posted hold much water, but thats what i would be thinking as a stockholder. gfy is still an influential place, why are they not using it to halt their plummeting stock ? and instead doing things that only seem to hasten the falling value of playboy.

I cant think of many other companies selling ads for companies that steal their product. Not any profitable ones anyways.:2 cents:

Shap, I respect you as well (At Times) but what I don't understand is for someone like you, your reputation, the quality of Sites you own. You have one of the best if not the best photographers and have used him for years (Dean Capture) he is not cheap but worth every penny. Your sites are amazing. But why do you spend so much time and money to make them look like they do if you know they aren't converting like they used to? I own Played out AVS sites which people think have died a decade ago. They still makes amazing sales and I still put quality photos and Videos weekly for new members and for existing members that we have had for over 8 - 10 years. I'm proud of the quality that we put in our sites but to see a free script go up and take away majority of the sales we all worked so hard for yes, It pisses me off. (Especially when it's with our content)
