I agree - i think it can be done with this :2 cents:

if you are going to use licensed content, then that alone, meaning the content, won't be the selling point for the surfer to join.

i know you have taken alot of ribbing for the look of SD all these years, but it worked for you.. much like the way craigslist simplicity has worked for them.

you could have your "gimmick" be, that you are this porn collector, and your job is to find all kinds of porn for people, so that they don't have to look around themselves in trying to find the free stuff.

and you charge a membership fee, because you need to cover your costs for doing all of this searching and collecting.

surfers to your site now, know they can use your site as the jumping point to find some free porn, but those FHG and photos/videos would usually be limiting in their porniness, and scattered (except for tube sites which show everything) .

this new porn/paysite would be the one-stop shop, built without the glossy tours that you normally see.. keeping in the same style as SD

:2 cents:

use your existing traffic to test the concept out to see if it converts, then push more traffic into it (ie. buying of traffic, get an affiliate program and get affiliates, etc)

as you have said many times, test, test, test

and of course, use t3report.com (traffic, traffic, traffic) to find the good affiliates of your competitors in niches. :winkwink:
