if its unique you have a better chance now than ever, but if its same old shit you will close shop before you even start, as many have done in the past few months.

Unique stuff always has a good chance, just don't forget the fundamentals.

Oh hell yeah new programs have a shot. I think it takes a true believer though. I think the thing is to have someone up front who truly knows that the product being offered can make some sales and loves talking about it.
Find someone with good communication skills, likes people and has a passion for the program (and not just the money) and you have a great combination to move forward with. Find someone or do it yourself that can be involved with all aspects of site development and marketing for a smooth transition from billing companies, members and affiliates. That why my title is 'manager' and not just 'affiliate manager'. I love doing what I do and I think that has contributed to some of our programs success and I think anyone with the right attitude can do the same thing spaz |
A program that has no in-house traffic? Probably no chance at all.
|
You can still make a shitload of money with the right niche and paysite. Luckily you won't have much competition nowadays, people still produce the same boring content, so anything fresh will do just great.

There is ALWAYS room for something new.
And you do not need to own the entire market.. |
Back on topic... I took off the shelf content and did decent.

i know you have taken alot of ribbing for the look of SD all these years, but it worked for you.. much like the way craigslist simplicity has worked for them. you could have your "gimmick" be, that you are this porn collector, and your job is to find all kinds of porn for people, so that they don't have to look around themselves in trying to find the free stuff. and you charge a membership fee, because you need to cover your costs for doing all of this searching and collecting. surfers to your site now, know they can use your site as the jumping point to find some free porn, but those FHG and photos/videos would usually be limiting in their porniness, and scattered (except for tube sites which show everything) . this new porn/paysite would be the one-stop shop, built without the glossy tours that you normally see.. keeping in the same style as SD :2 cents: use your existing traffic to test the concept out to see if it converts, then push more traffic into it (ie. buying of traffic, get an affiliate program and get affiliates, etc) as you have said many times, test, test, test and of course, use t3report.com (traffic, traffic, traffic) to find the good affiliates of your competitors in niches. :winkwink: Fight the invention of the re-invention! |
