Looks like a pretty good deal.

Good luck with the sale! :)

bump :thumbsup

Hard to sell anything to broke people these days. It's well worth the money and even if I myself had that much to blow, not being in adult really, I'd pounce on it. Good luck with the sale.

Good luck with the sale. If I had that kinda money sitting around waiting to be invested I would take a hard look at it. Probably several of us on here thinking the same.

Good luck on the sale. I think you are doing the right thing.
We need to focus these days and to much on a plate can only harm. |
Good Luck, I remember watching you bust ass in the CJ offices getting started in 2003 or so. You are the epitome of dedication.

I dunno man I think at 100k you'll look back down the road and wish you didn't sell, just my opinion.

Little rule i learned from someone a lot more knowledgeable and successful than me... its great to sell things and make a profit, but if you have monthly income coming in from something then don't sell unless you have something secure lined up that will make you more a month then what you are making now. thats the jist of it. basically meaning, don't sell something if you just going to put the money in the bank, blow it, etc. etc... |

A lot of times I am just testing some technology or platform to see the results. Then I move on. Sometimes it becomes more a hassle then expected, and I do not want the site. I always invest that money back into content, my business, or another idea. Making money is easy if you know what you are doing, and sometimes doing the leap frog is a good method if you are confident in your ideas and business model. It has served me well. It does not work for everyone, and many just blow the money. So they lose that stream of income and do not replace it, nor plan for the down months. |
100K in escrow is worth 100K more than all the 'hey, let's work out an arrangement' crap you are undoubtedly hearing these days.
Take the money. ;) |
Good luck Jay, I know you have put a ton of time into this project of yours..
|

Will76 is giving some good advice. Just one more thing to add, be sure that what you invest in is a growth area so you can eventually sell it for more than you paid for it after you've collected the rents and a better deal comes along.
|
don't do it.

A lot of us here made a lot of money and invested it into offline businesses and lost it all and have nothng to show for it. In my case I didn't sell the cow to invest in offline stuff. I kept the cow, sold the milk and used the milk money to invest. I lost the milk money but kept selling more milk so I still had money coming in. If you sell the cow, lose it on an offline investment, there is no more milk money coming in either. I know you said you still have affiliate money coming in, but I think I also read how you said it was a fraction of what you use to make as an affiliate. maybe that was someone else but I thought it was you. Either way, you risking a lot more by selling/investing a source that makes you money. Rather, why not save the money made from the network over the next 10-12 months and use that to invest, the ie milk money instead of the cow. |

I used my funds to buy commercial real estate. I have flipped a few properties using 1031 exchanges and managed to improve my porfolio. The area has continued to grow and I've maintained a 8+% annual return on my investments for the past 30 years.
