Will76 is giving some good advice. Just one more thing to add, be sure that what you invest in is a growth area so you can eventually sell it for more than you paid for it after you've collected the rents and a better deal comes along.

a 100K in escrow is 7K a month less in income. Sounds like he isn't spending much time on it now anyway. Put in a little time and keep the 7K a month coming in, even if it is declining a little each month. unless you have something to do with the money to make you more money it is stupid to sell and just bank it.

becarefull, your 7K a month is a sure thing. Well even if it is 7K this month, 6800 next month, 6600 the following month etc... its still "x" amount of money at the end of the month/year guaranteed.

A lot of us here made a lot of money and invested it into offline businesses and lost it all and have nothng to show for it. In my case I didn't sell the cow to invest in offline stuff. I kept the cow, sold the milk and used the milk money to invest. I lost the milk money but kept selling more milk so I still had money coming in. If you sell the cow, lose it on an offline investment, there is no more milk money coming in either.

I know you said you still have affiliate money coming in, but I think I also read how you said it was a fraction of what you use to make as an affiliate. maybe that was someone else but I thought it was you. Either way, you risking a lot more by selling/investing a source that makes you money. Rather, why not save the money made from the network over the next 10-12 months and use that to invest, the ie milk money instead of the cow.

Trust me, I struggled with that. OCCash and LordsofPorn make decent money, whatever additional time I have I put into JQMedia. I've been working 12 hour days for way too long and need a break. I've gotten to where I envy anyone with spare time. I need some of that right now.

I can understand if you really want to move on but just make sure you think it through carefully before doing something rash.

If you are short of funds then needs must I would suppose. Personally I have never sold a business asset and even when I have had to wait 10 years for a return I have always made a solid profit for the company.

I'm not... you have a decent network and all... but it involves work and overhead and costs... plus to move over all the affiliate accounts that go with that network to new owners, and so on and so forth, and if there are any paysites, that's another level of complication. There isn't a whole lot of people who could understand what they are buying and the level of dedication needed to run that kind of operation, not to mention the learning curve of understanding how it all works. :2 cents:
