Just going by what a few said and they told me they were loading off of their CC, they had some reason like points or something.
I do know most do use wire though, thought I did post that. Yeah I did but guessing by saying many load other ways clouded it. I do know first hand still that wires still took awhile and often went into the wire void for a few days to a week.

Agent 488 10-09-2009 07:10 PM

epass business accounts could only be loaded by wire anyway.

Then perhaps those that were talking were either stalling or not using a business account. It is why I have left it open ended.

I am curious if wire is an option though.

M. O. said himself it effected all accounts. In the ICQ copy JD posted it said limited to ACH only - in a line M. O. posted.

See why I am curious now?

I didn't get that message but a few months ago when I tried loading with my debit card the bank turned my card off. Never tried that again.

Just a slight guess but would not be surprised to see a lot of bitching about late payments by next week. Feel sorry for those sponsors already, especially since even wires could take forever and a day. Guessing wire funding may still be an option, I hope for many of you. I just know many sponsors do not always load via wire.

This does in NO WAY affect wire loads.

It only affect loads via credit card. ACH loads and wire loads work like usual.

Wouldnt that be through a 3rd party person who will charge you usury fees?

Epassporte charges 5% for load over credit/debit card, and usually exchanger fee is 10%.

DamageX 10-10-2009 07:21 AM

Epassporte = clusterfuck.

Loch 10-10-2009 10:44 AM

I dont seem to have any problems, yet

wizzart 10-10-2009 11:15 AM

very strange

HowlingWulf 10-10-2009 12:33 PM

Is this because epass is being used for so much fraud? The only 'support' I've received when reporting a fraud case is
'We are sorry to inform you that we would not be able to assist you
though the recipient is not responding. A P2P would be treated a cash
transaction and ePassporte would not involve in the issue. '

So why should I use epass anyway? I'd prefer anything else at this point.

halfpint 10-10-2009 12:57 PM

Yep i just got the same message

Michael does this also mean debit cards over here in the UK ?

J. Falcon 10-10-2009 04:24 PM

This is fucked up for sure. Let's hope Micheal tells us when this situation will be fixed.

rowan 10-10-2009 04:40 PM

Am I the only one wondering if epass have lost their CC processing?...

Nope I posted it on the previous page and I know Micheal saw it as he made it clear about my other question in regards to wires was answered but did not touch that one.

Honestly I would always prefer paypal. Call it what you want, stay within their rules just like everything else business wise and you are 100% OK. Plus they provide actual protection and are typically both faster and cheaper when every aspect is considered.

Emma 10-11-2009 02:09 AM

so, may I use my Epass Visa electron at ATM and load money outdoors?

Pay Pal is fine until the purchaser puts his porn website name or mentions something about porn in the transaction then Pay Pal freezes both of the accounts. Thats what happened to me and they kept my money. The account is still frozen today and they wont let me use it So now I have to use my misses account but I am very weary of using it when dealing with porn related biz. I sure hope Epass get this sorted out

thatr is bad but i know everything will be fine at end!

SpeakEasy 10-11-2009 05:00 AM

Is this the beginning of the end for epassporte? I mean cut of by all legitimate banking institutions? i smell something fishy here...:helpme

Quagmire 10-11-2009 05:08 AM

What is strange is I didn't get that message, but when I just logged in to my account to check I found that my internal transfer messages are all marked unread back to July 16th.

lagcam 10-11-2009 05:45 AM

I would imagine that the vast majority of money finds its way into epassporte initially via business account wires rather than from credit card loads.

So probably business as usual for most people.

:2 cents:

That would be an unrelated issue.
Please email me your UserID to [email protected] then I will look into it.

Any updates on this? I am in the process of trying to open a business account with them, but don't want to waste the $100 and time doing the paper work, getting it notarized, etc. If there is no option for CC's

Btw, sorrry to bump a old thread.

Michael O 12-23-2009 06:10 AM

Business accounts can only be loaded via a wire transfer.

zurc-net 12-23-2009 06:49 AM

Thanks for the response, but no thanks.

Epass business accounts can only be funded through wires or transfers from other Epass business accounts.

In a million years I would never use a service such as this. Who needs all those fees and limited access? I don't pay any service charges for anything I do in banking and won't start now.

Besides...huge banks fail and you would trust these guys?

Without MO they would be out of business. He is epassportes only reason why any web master has any faith in them.

thekingz 06-27-2010 03:04 PM

my account got down today , just send email to Michael O
