I don't know how to "fell" smart. That must be another one of those special things that only smart businessmen like you understand, like how pre-checked x-sales aren't scamming the surfer. :1orglaugh

hey look! you can now tell walmart you can spell check 4 letter words too!

Lenny boy, what's it like seeing such a dumb guy like me succeed in a business you failed at? how will you live with yourself as you grab the blue apron and head to work knowing someone as dumb as me did what you couldn't do?:1orglaugh

the best part is how you pretended to know anything in our business as you watched your little project piss down to one join a day. and the rabble actually believed you had a clue. :1orglaugh for me, thats the best part. the mighty snake doctor giving out advice as he squandered away his business explaining to the world how smart he was on GFY (ok, thats really the best part for me)

good bye, loser. don't let the door to my business hit you in the ass.

If you are only doing one sale a day with that kind of network then I would suggest that you have the wrong sponsors.

Instead of selling it, spend a bit of time on it and change your links around. If you are trying to sell Brazzers, BangBros, NastyDollars and all that saturated crap then sure, it is going to suck. It is like beating a dead horse.

You should be doing double or triple your sales with that kind of set up. But, it is so dependent on finding the right sponsors.

Argos88 11-03-2009 05:37 PM

And some people keep saying that adult is in it's best moment ever and that they keep doing a lot of money in this...

Funny how extremelly different some opinions can be. However, I am 100% completely sure that some people are just being hypocrite and giving a false image for some reason.

And as a hint, I tell you snake doctor, you are absolutely right about the current situation of the adult business.

You really are a tool. I haven't ever pretended to be doing anything. You're the one who is obsessed with how much you make in comparison to others. It's quite the Napoleon complex you have.

I never once said "oh I'm doing great things are fine" or anything that even implied that. I've been very candid about the fact that business has been declining for the past 2 years.
I guess your business is booming and all of course, which is why you're laying people off.

Good job crying to the mods to get this banner out of my sig BTW.

logically for a network on autopilot the "not having time excuse" never makes sense, but whatever, i am no person to judge someone's financial problems .....

Davy 11-04-2009 08:30 AM

You are registered on gfy since 2001.
Your network seems to be a feed for your tube site.
I have a hard time to believe that this is what you have come up with since 2001.
You sure it's your whole network?

Jeez you're dense.

I want to make a clean break. I want out, completely out. I don't want to ever look at another penis again that isn't attached to my body.

I don't want to renew domains, pay a server bill, file quarterly reports about my business, have to worry about whether a site or server is down, or if there's a new wordpress exploit that I have to upgrade to patch, respond to DMCA requests, etc.

Autopilot means no active promotion. It means no work is required promotion wise to achieve the level of sales it's been generating for the past 3 months. That doesn't mean there aren't still other things involved in being an internet business owner.
For someone who already works adult full time (or would like to work adult full time) these things are no big deal.

For someone who wants out completely because they are going to be very busy with other things, and not going to be around their PC for days or even weeks at a time, these things are a burden.

That being said, if I don't get a reasonable offer, I'll just keep them and deal with the headache and keep collecting the checks. I'm not going to just give them away when there's a steady stream of income there that I can keep collecting, burden or not.

Agent 488 11-04-2009 08:50 AM

sorry man renewing domains and paying your server bill could be set up to be done automatically on your cc or epass. can't see how that could be a burden?

maybe you are going to be a truck driver? going away for weeks?

there is no shame in this. just think it is a weird thread.

Agent 488 11-04-2009 08:51 AM

hell ron used to be a roofer. being a truck driver is nothing to be ashamed of.

I never understood how a troll living with mommy somehow puts himself above a successful business owner. Like I should be ashamed of having once owned a construction business at the same age you still lived with mommy.

someone has to explain that one to me. I simply can't dumb myself down enough to get that.

What difference does it make? Why does everyone need my life story here?
Unless you're really interested in buying and wonder if I have other stuff to sell besides this, it doesn't matter.

This is what's left. It's not everything I ever owned. Other things have been sold, traded, died off, whatever.
This is what's left that I'm selling on my way out the door. How it relates to whatever else I've done since I started in early 2000 is irrelevant.

Hey troll, why are you so obsessed with this? What difference does it make to you and your life?

Perhaps you missed the dozen or so other things I listed. Maybe you don't know about those because you're not running a legitimate business. You're just a fake nick troll.

Running a legitimate biz comes with headaches, accountants, attorneys, quarterly reports, separate bank accounts, 2257 record keeping that requires a person to keep a certain number of business hours per week, and all kinds of other shit that I don't want to fuck with anymore.
I guess since you're just a troll who doesn't have an LLC or Corporation or an attorney on retainer or any 2257 records you wouldn't understand all of this stuff.

Fucken fake nicks, if you're going to be a punk ass mother fucker the least your pussy ass could do is use your real handle.

I'll give 12clicks that. He's a real dickhead, but at least he doesn't hide behind a fake name.

Yeah galleries used to be my bread and butter. It was like printing money there for awhile. I worked like 3-4 hours a day and took lots of vacations back in the TGP salad days. :thumbsup

So what if you're lazy, make an offer anyways. ;p

First $8000 takes it. That is the new buy it now price.

You do know if you would have worked harder back then, instead of 3-4 hours a day and not taken so many vacations you would have likely been retired by now.

If you are lazy when the money is "easy" to make you going to be fucked 4x over when it starts getting hard to make. When it is "easy" to make you should be working 10x harder (not less) so you can make as much as you can, and then invest that money into other things.

You're probably right about the working harder and being retired now part.....but I have no regrets.

I didn't come here to get rich or anything like that, I wanted to be able to set my own hours and spend more time with my family and things like that. I wouldn't trade the time I got to spend coaching my son's little league teams or the trips my wife and I got to take together and all of the little things like that for a million bucks, seriously.

Anyways, thx for the bump. :thumbsup

Great answer.

We'll be chasing money the rest of our lives, but we can never replace the quality time spent with family. :thumbsup

Its all relative I guess. You wouldn't give up the time you had from things you have done the past 10 years but you will lose time over the rest of your life. If you would have worked more and missed some family stuff back then you would likely be able to do a lot more family stuff in the future, have more money to help your kids, enjoy you life going forward.

The way I look at it, I would rather put my time in now and enjoy the rest of my life being financially secure and not having to work unless I wanted to. Not work "part time" till the day I die, and be greeting people at walmart when I am in my 70's because I didn't bust my ass when I was younger. Just shoot me if that happens.

Another bump for your sale.

thats wrong on so many levels as explained in my post above.

If you are the type that you can never have enough money and if you make 100 million you want to make 100 million more. Or if you burn through the money as fast as you make it... yeah maybe then you would be chasing it forever. But if you really worked 10x harder early on in your life if you save and invest correctly you should be set the rest of your life. Then instead of spending time with your kids just on weekends you could spend everyday with them, your grand kids, make sure your kids are financially secure, go to college, have money for that wedding, take vacations with them, everyone's health is covered. Travel the world with your spouse etc. etc. etc...

When I hear the " enjoy life, I didn't work much because I wanted to spend time with my family, spend it while you are young" etc.. or any one of those type of sayings, my first response is to think how people are making excuses for being lazy... at least 9 out of 10 times I bet that is case. :2 cents:

Agent 488 11-06-2009 10:17 PM

aren't you looking for an affiliate rep job after a decade of working 10-12 hours every day?

...and maybe being in adult isn't the priority either. I make enough to be able to say yes to a lot more things than before, but it certainly isn't going to make me want to quit my day job.... as much as I like being in front of the computer... I wouldn't want to be in front of it all day looking at this stuff... :2 cents:

Snake Doctor good luck on your sale. I think what your looking for (around 10k) is what it is worth if market conditions were better. 1 yrs net is probably realistic.

Also although some of the information in your posts is incorrect (as in who is retired etc) they are well written.
my 2 cents.
