Get sick with the flu and you will lose 10lbs in a week like me lol!

Bryan G 11-12-2009 09:18 AM

I work out 4-5 times a week, mixture of weights and running. Makes you feel so good after a workout. My vice is BEER, need to cut down on that.

Martin 11-12-2009 09:28 AM

I'm going on 32 and I still feel pretty good. Starting to feel the need to get more exercise. In our line of work we sit on our asses a lot so if you don't take care of yourself and get some sort of activity you WILL indeed die at a young age...

Huggles 11-12-2009 09:28 AM

Fat people disgust me.

Bman 11-12-2009 09:32 AM

Healthy body, healthy mind!!

Starting to get liver and kidney pains, heartburn all the time, teeth getting shitty, tears in my knees, and having a double hernia operation next month.

YAY! 36 btw.

Tom_PM 11-12-2009 09:44 AM

Yeah I worry about it. Hard not to for me since dad died at 46 and I had a heart attack at 42 already. Fuck yeah it's a worry, it's a crippling worry sometimes. Health, that is.

Huggles 11-12-2009 10:34 AM

I'm 31, I'm lean, my cock gets hard for hours, I am sexy, my body makes me feel like I'm 18, and I've got almost all of my hair still!

I think the biggest thing I've noticed due to age is a loss of hearing. I blame listening to loud music and working construction when I was younger.

Twistys Tim 11-12-2009 10:41 AM

37 here. I never worry about anything really, least of all dying (seems like a waste of time worrying about something that is inevitable).

I quit smoking recently. I had smoked since I was 15, and the constant pain I was getting in my ear from my wife nagging me about smoking was too much for me to handle -- so I quit cold turkey.

jact 11-12-2009 10:46 AM

I'm 34, I've been "sick" for the better part of 5 years. Been told I had cancer 6 times (each time it turned out I didn't have it, they just like to tell you that you do to see how you react apparently).

I changed my lifestyle, my habits, my eating.. Still continued to get sick. Eventually you figure out that we're all going to die eventually. Some just have it happen sooner then others.

TurboAngel 11-12-2009 10:46 AM

I will be 40 in March and don't worry about it as we all have to die sometime.

Welcome to my world!

I just turned 40, I only weigh 20lbs more than I did at 18(98lbs) and I never exercise, BUT I need to! I worry about health crap all the time given the couch potatoe nature of our profession. I did buy a bike last summer but that is as far as I got.

and simpsons boxers from Walmart? Really? You just ruined it for me!

martinsc 11-12-2009 10:53 AM

i got s bit worried, stopped smoking, started a healthy diet and started to work out....

Curious why everyone in this thread almost all associated health with physical fitness. Seems everyone glossed over the real killers out there and just stuck with the most obvious form of health which is the all to easy to see weight which is a visual aspect of health.

Aside from weight which is a good thing to keep in control. People should be on the watch for what is in their diet - like antioxidants. Of course people should be checked for prostate, cancer, and the like. Hell many need to really start monitoring such things as they are entering the age brackets where they may pop up. Also start in on brain health, watching for bone issues, making sure your heart is doing well, checking to see if no rare or odd disease has started, and of course make damn sure there is no diabetes or such.

do another walk today sleazy. and maybe a salad if you need to snack. lots of tasty low fat dressings out there.

d-null 11-12-2009 09:03 PM

wondering about the thread title "over 35".... realistically anyone over 18 should be thinking about mortality here and there, we're all going to die sometime and what is a few years difference anyways, it will all go by fast whether is is 10 years or 60 years :2 cents:

baddog 11-12-2009 09:04 PM

Never.

to most of us this might sound like science fiction, but it isn't: we moved from 25 years average lifespan to 70 or whatever it is now, and one single medical anti-aging break-through will give make us immortal
