Warranty didn't cover that laptop? If they did ya wrong don't buy Sony again. We aren't forced to buy broken Sony computers and then forced to pay for another upgraded to to another broken Sony Computer, year after year.
Basically you purchased the same basic computer everyone else is selling but it has a Sony tag on it.
I don't trust branded computers... had far too many issues with various brands, so I started building my own, even my laptops. I recommend going that direction, saves ya a ton of money and issues.

yes, i agree. the warranty expired on the laptop, then the laptop expired. classic, right.
anyhoo, i guess my point is that there are other ways to seek restitution for problematic products other than advocating and condoning privacy against them.
not calling you a bad guy or anything, i've put some thought into your perspective and tried to understand it based on my own experiences is all.
