You have to accept they will always have a bad reputation. I personally don't like the dogs, however I do know they can be good dogs. Its all in the upbringing like with all dogs. Pits do tend to have a bit of a bad nature tho that you can't argue with.

As I always say tho its in how you raise your dog. I won't be hypocritical and say I don't worry if I see a Pit Bull of a leash when I'm walking my dog because I do. So far I've only came across one that tried to attack my dog but it was on a leash and caught the owner off guard as he came to my house and my dog was sitting at the fence. He apologised to me immediately and pulled his dog on a tighter leash.

I swear Buddy doesn't have a bone in his body that will make him vicious... He's sitting next to me right now whimpering because he wants me to cuddle him... Big baby.. So ovious the people with no experience with dogs or even any animal for that matter.

dog owner here. also watched a pit chase a kid on his bike last year and bite him on the leg. good thing it wasnt a vicious attack and im sure that pit was just playing as well. animal control had to come and all that stuff and take all three pit bulls that they had. they got them back of course.

I pay a lady $14.95 a week to come here and pick up all the dog poop.
