2 over simplified examples:

1. Affiliate has a wild blinkie page full of random ads filling every inch of real estate - Pages where I can hardly even find the "Join Now" link of the featured gallery... These affiliates aren't "selling" - they're throwing shit at the wall to see what sticks.

2. Affiliates who are only providing one click access to thumbnail listings that are basically mirrors of an affiliate program aren't "Actively Selling" they're "Sharing" -
So it doesn't reach the ends of "making sales" for that program-
It reaches the logical ends of getting people on your page for free content...

I'd like to see some affiliates try "SELLING" a product before they gripe too much about not making sales, no matter what the economic climate is or who's sharing what.
