HK is a lot more relaxed that the mainland. I don't shoot porn here so I don't have to worry about that, but if I did, I doubt I would have much problems from the police. Better chance of having problems with gangs.

Yeah, if you live in a fucking cardboard box or a hammock and eat deep-fried cockroaches and crickets and som tam / rice for the entire year. I fucking hate the backpacker culture --- oh, it's so fun carrying around the heavy-ass rucksack, getting 'dreads, being broke, and always smelling like a dirty sock. It's so fun having a guy like me behind you in line at immigration, paying your overstay (allowing you to get your ass back to France after you've clearly been on 'E' for a month in Koh Phangan, waiting for the full moon party). Really, who the fuck wants to go to a 3rd world country and live on $85 / month? The girls (and, even ladyboys) won't even fuck Brad Pitt without the money. So, the only thing that you're guaranteed is that, as a bum, you probably won't freeze to death, being in a tropical environment. :winkwink:

so far i spend here around 40 usd daily...cheap accomodation, eating street food, massage every 2 days, motorbike rented etc. . I heard that average thai salsary is about 300 usd , so i guess you can survive on 10-15 per day also...*especially* if you travel in group :)

thailand rox. My favorite airport ever is the koh samui airport.

the place is paradise. Went all over the south last time. Did tourist traps as well as chill on all the islands in Huts, spent time at small bars just relaxing. Next time I want to do more of that as well as go to laos and spend a little more time further north.

Good comment. Backpackers SUCK. Not only are they cheap, but they typically are rude, slamming you with that monster backpack if you are close. Taking up half the clown sized van-taxi's with the backpacks that they won't send as checked luggage.
Please all backpackers do not visit asia, you suck, stay in your own countries and protest something instead.
