Anyone who takes the time to read & wants to learn will just as easily spend time googling how to pick up girls or invest in eharmony or some shit like that where they'll pick up on wack chicks in their league.

I'm not slamming u Scott, just giving u shit to think about so that when the dust settles from the launch u have some constructive criticism to work off of. I'll be surprised if it does 50 "real" joins (not from webmasters testing their links, etc) over the next 6 months without working a better angle.

If you're as evil as you say u are you'll move ccbill to a secondary position and move away from the vanilla registration process (get creative with xsales by offering ur site free 4 life etc.). Throw in shit like geo-ip to entice the surfer with something that brings it home.

Keep it honest with ur people here and we'll help u out. Don't start busting lies with "oh man it's converting like crazy, wow people are making a killing, etc." cuz in the end it'll show and that'll be the end of that.

this is true- yet people still buy your sites and they get content stolen all the time

people still pay for dating sites yet can get it for free on POF

people still buy tons of PUA sites every day yet they can get most on google for free

on not big on creative billing scams - i like clean sites for buying. might not be the most profitable thing, but i can sleep at night....to each their own. I'm going to be adding cascading and more billing options very soon. Very happy with CCbill in primary...

planning on adding geo-ip ads very soon - can't do everything at once....

have you EVER known me to lie about sales? I usually keep pretty quiet about it overall to be honest....

as for design, I've made millions with crappy designs before.... testing will tell. i like it...

Don't you also own a dating/porn site. So you have experience with an odd sales angle already. the feel is pretty similar on both of them.

xNetworx 12-16-2009 10:24 PM

That design needs work.

I'll just leave it at that.

Seriously tho, Good luck.

Not trolling, just playing the devil's advocate:

Copywrite 2009

Have you even spellchecked the site? Copyright.

Stick to the same font throughout. The design looks a mess as it is, like 2002 hacked together html.

There's no clear message on what the site is all about, needs to be damn obvious to surfers the minute they land there.

This looks like another pick up artist site, but with videos to me. What's your USP? Why would people rebill? If by some miracle they actually learn how to pick up, why would they come back to view some cheesy videos - in case they forgot?

The best thing about it is the domain name.

How can you get Mastercard and Visa approval if you're bankrupt?

Vjo 12-16-2009 10:32 PM

Sleazy, congratz on your launch and I admire your trying to crossover and make it in the paysite game. Looks like a daunting task.

OK Cricisms:

I think you would be better with a long sales pitch (sleazy type writeup) for a site like this and then throw all this in the members area. Who cares that they get bigger vids in members area. It is not about the videos but about the knowledge you should be selling but are basicly giving free.

You know this is basicly a video book you are selling rather than a recurring website seems to me.

On the plus, good orig idea that if really honed could sell with very little competition so thats a big plus.

Best luck man. I'll send you a few hits. It's the kind of things surfers will be interested in. Will it sell? It could if you don't give away the same stuff in front of the members area as behind it.

[Edit] Yeah, agree with CS leave it at 60% cause rebills could be tough.

Congrats and good luck! :thumbsup

BTW Sleazy aren't you doing well with free sites? Why this desire for the "big cigar." You just filed br and you're trying to compete in one of the hardest areas on the internet... paysites. (Altho yours is a somewhat more unique niche)

Not that you don't have talent but even I know my html 1.0 skills would not get me far even in an offshoot category of porn. We're talking paysite in 2009. I would have to hire it all out for big investment. You can't do this on a shoestring, BUT hopefully you prove me wrong. Because i would love for it to sell. :)

Indeed there's a lot to be argued both ways. Some would like us to believe porn users enjoy ppm models, others will argue free lifetime models, but the popularity of tube sites confirm "flappable free is king".

Personally I believe the *majority* of "porn subscribers" are either (1) not aware of the charges, (2) don't plan to let it rebill, or (3) drunk/drugged/etc during POS in which case refer back to #1. Yes there are "fans" who rebill on solo sites or a bangbros all-you-can-eat type network but even then they'll graduate to stolen passwords/tubes/torrents sooner than later.

Ten years ago shit was different, a subscription model worked. Now surfers are too educated to fall for simple "get in line here to pay" type sites. They want everything for free. The reason why dating sites work (work meaning affiliates make money) is because they get the user this close <----> to meeting a "real" girl (a real girl meaning "smart" auto-responders and/or Philippine chatters looking for gullible john's) and so then the guy whips out his cc to play. Adult dating sites have no real women looking for sex (if we take percentages into play). It's all a fake sell. Forget about sleeping at night buddy, if you've made any $$ from dating sites you've facilitated the scam. POF is "popular" but so are the W4M sections of craigslist (see auto-responders & Philippine chatters referenced above). Eharmony et al drop millions on TV ads so the preppy bitches who missed their man-finding opportunities while whoring in their 20's talk about it with their mid-age-I-want-a-baby friends while sipping on some trendy java drink. Otherwise, it's all bullshit.

If anything what has been confirmed from your release is there's some confusion as to what is being offered/sold. A few 'back to the drawing board sessions' can easily clear this up as some people have already posted some helpful ideas (intro video, cleaner design, etc.). The good thing is you personally have TONS of traffic to throw at it for testing, testing, and more testing.

If I were you (and most likely something I know you *will* do) is wait to hear from all sides. You'll have your regular tools hate from their mom's kitchen ... fuck them. Then you'll have real players throw u tips that may spark something you hadn't thought of ... I'd focus on "free registrations" to see if you actually get someone to post a simple email (which in the end is worth something itself) and then work on tweaking it to get them to pull out their cc. If they don't drop an email, they'll never drop financials.

Like I said before you've been busy and the framework is there ... clean it up and you'll have a good idea if it'll work or not as our opinions don't mean shit if you're laughing all the way to the bank. I'll keep an eye out for updates, it's always good to hear a down-n-out story turn into a success. Good luck bud and I'm sure you'll succeed one way or another :pimp

i gota say - i feel sorry for you on that attitude for dating sites. I've been laid more times from adult friend finder than I can count. yes i'm a slut. I'm an ugly fat bastard and I've fucked some pretty hot women from there. it's not a scam and my experiences prove it. some dating sites are a scam - no doubt- AFF isn't and I never lost ANY sleep thinking it ever was a scam promoting them.

I do plan on collecting emails for a legit newsletter soon though, good idea and I'm on that page totally.

99% of dating sites are scams.. you might have met a chic or two from aff but theres millions of fake profiles.. you really think there are that many hot horny girls who cant find someone to fuck them, so they have to join aff?

lol craigslist women seeking men section is now a joke..

99,999 ads out of 100,000 are fake.lol

i've met and fucked more than a chick or two - I'd done dozens and dozens from AFF.

but it's as a swinger swapping with my GF

not sure how the single side works but for swingers on AFF- my experience is that the VAST majority are REAL profiles - like 90% plus and the other 10% are just idiots fucking around.

xxweekxx 12-17-2009 12:03 AM

couple swingers yes, not single females.. try messaging some "females"

bdld 12-17-2009 12:11 AM

the idea is okay, TCG has a site 'secrets to getting laid' which is the same concept. the design / text / videos is what needs a lot of work. keep at it and it can be successful.

I see you have lots of wise and experienced people there behind you. That's important, both for support and for feedback.

Some observations I made which might help improve the site are:

? Correct spelling errors here and there.

? Perhaps a better light balance could be applied to the photos (or put them on a colored background, instead of a stark white background, so that the difference from girl-to-girl won't be as obvious).

? I would suggest a different logo (or at least eliminate the dot on the top of the logo).

My suggestion would be to use an animated gif of a traffic signal with the green light blinking YES, and have surfers click on the Yes signal to enter the site.

? Place some type of video on the first page after people click inside (an introductory video for example, such as a girl saying, "Hey guys, welcome to Yes Signals, where you are not only going to be entertained by hot, sexy girls, but as a bonus you are also going to learn the techniques which will help you increase your chances of getting that hot chick that you've had your eyes on..."

? Put a general warning on the landing page that it is an adult site (not simply another typical pick-up" site).

Until I opened a video, I didn't realize that it was going to have hardcore content (and that was my 5th or 6th random click - you need to hook the surfer faster than that, or they may surf away).

* Since there is hardcore content inside (I viewed a few videos), you need to get those 2257 disclaimers up (yes, even though you are Canadian, lol).

These aren't criticisms per se, so please don't take my comments the wrong way.

It's always good to get unbiased feedback.

Anyway, I see lots of marketing potential there.

Again, good luck... :thumbsup

Slappin Fish 12-17-2009 12:45 AM

Like others I like the concept, the execution not so much.

The main hook here is that these girls will be offering advice AND fucking.

Unfortunately the fucking part might be obvious to you since it is your concept but putting myself in a surfer's shoes I don't see it. If I hadn't read it here first I would think the members area contains a few youtube type vids. Without turning it in a full fledged porn site (that would defeat the purpose) I think you need to add some sexyness and explaining.
