I peeked in on this thread when it was first posted, and saw my friend on his bike, with his smiling mother behind him, and I wasn't quite sure what to make of it, since the thread simply said, "Goodnight Mom".

My first thought was that she had passed, but I didn't want to post anything since I thought it was possible that you were going to visit her perhaps the next day or something.

Now that it has been confirmed, let me pass along my sincerest condolences on your loss.

What a wonderful picture to have as a memory...

I lost my Mom when she was just 46, and it still hurts sometimes. Be happy for those times that you had together, and in your moments of sadness remember that you were probably one of the people that brought her the greatest happiness in her life.

Even as you grieve, be strong for the other's in your family, who must still go on.

To your Mom, I can only say, rest in peace...and give my Mom a hug if you see her.
