In the US Marines 1MARDIV artillery air naval gunfire platoon (had to add all that cuz i'm like a proud child who got an A on his report card, shrug) I was trained to never say 'sorry'.. (oh yeah, also i was trained how to kill camel rapers... don't hate on the racial term, it's truly the only targets we practiced on, the 'Middle Easter' threats solely').... what's happened happened and you can't change it so don't be weak.

The ability to admit when you're wrong is a sign of strength, NOT weakness. Not being able to admit when you're wrong is WEAK.

Of course, the attitude you were taught by the US Marines explains a LOT and is very telling about the US establishment and the way they operate.

Saying "sorry" is not the same as admitting when you are wrong. They are two different beasts.

Most of us have been trained to say "sorry" under certain circumstances in order to try to make the other person feel better. That has nothing to do with actually being wrong or admitting guilt. It's appeasement, nothing more.

I agree with kman. I very rarely say the words "sorry", because very rarely am I "sorry." But when I do make a mistake, I admit it and also correct it fairly quickly.

And this is one reason why to many that youre a good dude :thumbsup
