The country spotlights are great, but the quality of people attending the show makes for excellent networking.

I travel extensively through the US and abroad, and for the most part, TSA is a lot stricter here, but its a minor inconvenience to endure to get to a kickass place. Barcelona is a very liberal city that is full of great food, amazing architecture, and of course the Barcelona Summit holds a lot of opportunities to be had. Hope you change your mind and join us!:thumbsup

Sadly, I will miss it again this year. The "aftershow" cooldown looks amazing! Kudos to Global Acces for sponsoring it :thumbsup

Thinking about going. Have to see how much i spend in Vegas.

Ps. The hotel rooms look more expensive when you try to book. On the website rooms are 140 euro for 1 person. When you book it says 160 euro without 7% tax.

Rooms WERE ? 140 as stated on the website. Also it was stated that it was exclusive of VAT. Also we had hoped to make clear that those prices lasted until 15 January. From the 16th the price of the booking went up ? 20.

So the early birds had a little bargain.

Hope to see you in Barcelona!!!

I hope you win big in Vegas! The prime rib offers downtown just can't be beat!:thumbsup

The Barcelona Summit team does it right, they don't gouge you on the hotel rate by marking it up higher than the regular price, unlike a few other shows. Andreas and Karl are doing a kickass job on making sure that the show is not only a good value as far as information and networking but also on costs.

They are also giving out FREE passes to the show for webmasters who have quality traffic, which should be the way to go IMO:2 cents:

For those of you in the US who attend the domestic shows regularly, I cannot impress enough how different this show is, primarily because you'll meet a lot of people who do big business but have never attended a US show.

If you're wanting to grow your business in 2010, this is a great way to kick it off. I challenge US programs to take a look at their traffic sources, and if you have over 30% coming from outside North America, then it would behoove you to attend this show.:)

In Vegas i stayed not in the Pallms this time. But next time i will cause it is much better to simply walk downstairs and walk in the bar. But my GF needed a place to shop. I ate at Tony Roma's rib downtown :) The Outback also was i fine steakhouse. Luckily i am not a gambler, else i would be broke probabely. The business and the people i met where good for making money with.

I get interested in the Barcelona Summit, heard good things about it in Vegas. And when i see the programme, i can understand why. I will stay in the Hotel where the show is, always best to stay near the action. So i missed a early bird, but still much better than the 250 euro hotel in Amsterdam.

Have to decide this weekend if i will go. Free passes are welcome, but i see most of them are billing companies.
