Actually had one of my cr card numbers used to buy a membership to an adult site. Don't know how they got it but seen it in my online statement along with the number of the billing company. Called em, no problem, seemed routine.. chargeback.

So yeah it is pretty easy for a prog owner to see a few of these and it doesnt look too good for the affil.

normally i'd say how much fun i had with your $2400 but seeing as i credited it back, incurring not only refund fees but also crazy CB fees i'd be lying...

You should pay him the money for his sign ups and cancel his account. Keeping his account open really makes his case a lot stronger against you.

as i mentioned earlier.. this was what i had originally proposed pending the details from accounting which turboscam couldnt wait for.. he let the threats fly impatiently prompting me to have to look into this personally only to come up with the same conclusion as accounting gave me when i asked them about turbo's payouts... he tried to get us.. plain and simple... we canceled his account permanently earlier and he will not be getting payment, period.

unforunately, fraudulent activity is something we have to deal with on a daily basis and having such a high PPS fraudsters are attracted to programs like ours... usually the fraudsters are a little smarter than Turboface / TurboAngel unfortunately but our team screens joins vigorously thwarting a vast majority of the fraudulent activity.

at least proof you send that money back, until now you showed nothing then else then a "dirty d" mouth.

That's different man, DirtyD admitted money was owed but he didn't want to pay for a bullshit reason that wasn't even in his TOS. Kman is stating FRAUD, which IMO, is a serious accusation. Someone is lying, but neither of you is posting proof one way or the other. Don't expect anyone to take sides without more information / proof being posted here.

I have shown my cards. I posted a screen shot of my stats and explained the entire situation. We're all waiting to see proof from KMan showing that all my sales were all from women with similar logins. He has not produced any such proof, nor will he.

I suggest you do a look up on the ip's used to sign up/do a full investigation & contact the local authorities if you think fraud was involved & find the REAL person responsible if such an act took place.

Having known turboface for many many years....IF he were to conduct such a scam (which he would not have, I've seen his work), he certainly would not have done it with all female cards, he's far too intelligent (and has too much background in automation/AI etc) to do something so stupid. 2 cents:

Personally I dont think he carded signups himself, but if you look at the site he used for promo, it has been spammed around 1000's of comments, from adult, to pills, to mainstream sites, so odds are if someone signs up from an automatic spammed comment, the quality of traffic is going to be very low and thus result in a chargeback. which is what I think may have happened, if it was your everyday tgp/mgp/blog traffic the traffic is less likely to be a chargeback.

the 40% is what likely flagged the account, he may have some legit signups, who knows, but spamming sites in comments results in a very likely situation.

So even *if* money is owed, it wouldnt be the full amount since the high chargeback rate, but most programs will just ban your account if you have that high of a cb rate, and rather not deal with the hassle.

I pushed Rehab Dollars for the last month and a half without receiving a single payment, yet my account has never been canceled there, they were string me along pretending that were going to pay us, but is plain to see they never had any intention of paying.

Also, most all of the signups I got are not even a month old, so they haven't even had a chance to rebill yet. From the only screenshot they have posted so far, of all the 'carded' signups I sent them, there have already been two rebills. How does that happen?

I went with the $40 PPS with them. If I would have realized that his sites were just full of stolen content and false promises to the surfer, I never would have even sent them any traffic at all.

After reading everything, this is exactly what I think happened also. I don't think TF carded, just think the promotion was probably shady and a majority of the traffic felt duped after signing up. I'm clueless on celeb niche ratios and cb %, but I have to believe this has happened plenty in the past with some affiliates because of all of the bullshit celeb promo pages I've seen.

Its no different than the barrage of Phillipine chat spammers over the last two years and all of the sponsors that have suspended them because of their high cb %. They over hype/promise to the surfer and then disappear after he signs up for a trial, well of course most of them are going to feel duped and chargeback.

What I'd like to know is, out of all the CB's the program owner claims the affiliate got, how much of that money was actually refunded to the customer... Maybe all the customers didn't get a refund, maybe there really wasn't CB's!!

All I know is, that if I signed up thinking I was going to see a Britney Spears Sex Tape, and didn't see one, then I would ask for a refund. And I'm sure the account holder emailed the program owner asking, and there was never no response, so this is how CB happens.. 12 out of 60 tho would not be a problem for me, I would have to change my tours, it's not on the affiliate it's on the celeb content..
