Consistency and I like kettlebells its short, sweet. It's cardio and weight lifting all in one. I may eventually become a certified instructor in them.

Keep it up! Or have a hamburger you deserve it.

I lost 15 pound, my gut was 2 1/2 hand spans from top to bottom, now it's 1 1/2 hand spans. Me and mr pecker see eye to eye again!

When I decided to make the change, I looked at my history. I have gained and lost 100's pounds in my life. I decided a few things, fitness had to become a habit and be a realistic plan I could do for the rest of my life. I do 15 minutes of kettlebell training a day working up to 30 mins a day 6 days a week.
I had to cut out foods that were triggers for me like ice cream, heavy starches and they could never go into my mouth again. No matter how good I looked in the end, Im not a normal person and couldn't eat those things again. Healthy had to taste better.
I cut out anything processed except my protein powder I use in morning.
I drink between 140 oz to 170 oz of water a day.
I take supplements to keep my blood sugar stable and I dont crave anything.
I also deal with my emotions differently dont hold it in and eat on it later.
I take it one day at a time, I feel so good now I cant imagine how I will feel at 200 lbs. :)

Good job! You must feel a lot healthier. It sounds like it just comes down to making a decission that you really want it, and then a lot of hard work to keep yourself on track. I need to exercise more but I am still at the point that I just don't want it bad enough and cant pull myself away from working to do it. It is amazing how fast the day goes when you busy working, and then how fast a week, and even months go by. Good luck on your ultimate goal.

LOL only if he moves out to Manitoba, Canada. Isn't that where Sleazy lives?

Pretty sure the 404 is because he lives in ATL.

Great job dude, keep it up! I lost about 75 in a year and a half (down from 280 so over 25% of me) and unfortunately am back up a bit to about 215. Trying to get to 180-190 but it's been a rough year and I love food too much, lol.

Damn good job, Tony! Congrats and keep up the great work.

CDSmith 01-03-2010 08:43 AM

Very inspirational. Keep up the good work Tony. 126 lbs you say? So far you've lost the equivalent of a whole woman off yourself. Or perhaps a large midget. Nice.

I've gained a little over the holidays but am determined to shed not only that but 15-20 lbs by spring.

escorpio 01-03-2010 08:57 AM

The fact is the average person does not possess the strength and resolve necessary to do what you have done. You have demonstrated you have superhuman willpower. Fucking awesome.

kristin 01-03-2010 09:23 AM

It really is some accomplishment Tony. Scary that you did get to almost 500 pounds tho when you are capable of losing weight it seems. Good luck on getting to 200. That'll be a nice day for you I bet.

Quagmire 01-03-2010 12:20 PM

Congrats to Tony on 404ing all that fat. You're looking much healthier in that last pic.

It shows you that you need to be consistent and motivated for it to work.

GT-Omar 01-03-2010 12:39 PM

Wow Tony! Talk about super inspiring! Just by looking at the 2 pics of the before and after I can totally see you happier. Great job man. Keep it up!
