You know, I know I get teased about this alot, but I never let housekeeping in my room unless I'm there. I keep the DND on the whole time and unless I need towels or TP I spend my visits housekeeping free.

I got teased about it at Webmaster Access West a few years ago and so I let them in and they broke an $80 bottle of parfume. Sure, not as bad as a $35k watch, but enough to reaffirm why it's just not a good idea. I mean, what do they really need to "clean" anyway. Most of the time they don't even change your sheets, they just make the bed, fluff your pillow and clean the glasses in the room with some windex and toilet paper :1orglaugh

I agree with you. I see no reason why someone else that you don't know should be allowed to come into your room while you are not there. Don't be a slob, problem solved.

I do the same thing. I got it from my parents, though. If I can keep my room clean at home, why can't I keep a hotel room clean for 3 days? Make the bed, wipe the bathroom counter. Do I seriously need it vacuumed every day?

Just roll the dead bodies under the bed and they won't be noticed 'til after I check out ;)

Cool to see some of you guys agree w/ me too. I mean, it seems pretty common sense.

same here...

i've seen a couple of rooms of other people at shows (no names - lol) and after 1 or 2 days those rooms look like a hand grenade exploded. i have no idea how people do that... :upsidedow

I'd say less than 1% of people who own these watches are pilots :2 cents:

Does the price of $ 35k include the pilot?

Lots of YouTube videos on how to open those crappy hotel safes.

Chris knows I wouldn't steal his watch. He hosted several servers and class-c networks for me for many years.

The timing was just ironic.
(See what did there?) :1orglaugh:1orglaugh
