p.s. they did this to me also, i deposited a big amount then got a cashiers check once it cleared they pwned me and made me come into the branch to explain why

i deposited some check from intermark productions (clips4sale?) 2 days ago i dont see why that would trip their system up

seeing everyone post wrong amounts, it's funny how no one can do basic math in this thread.

What is wrong with that [if true]?

lol I remember one time I had a fried he checked his B of A account and like yours it was 1.2 mil shorted! LOL! He took a screen shot of it and hung it up at his desk.

Good times good times...

anicetan 01-21-2010 08:43 PM

I guess that explains why I'm up $888,888.88... :)

rob04 01-21-2010 08:55 PM

Yea BofA did the same shit to my account. I called and bitched up a storm and they sent me to their high risk department, wtf!

Nonetheless I called and they unlocked my account while I updated everything (direct deposit, etc) then the dumbassess forgot to close the account like they said they were going to... it was a complete fucking disaster.

Stay away from them would be my advice, they're a bunch of fucking assholes. Not to mention I worked for them way back for a month and was let go for refunding too many fees... fuckers shouldn't have been charging them in the first place!

pocketkangaroo 01-21-2010 08:55 PM

As others have said, move to a small bank. They treat you much better and almost always have a human being who can help you with your problems. This site will give you a list in your neighborhood.

Right? Exactly what I was thinking.

No wonder half of this board is utterly retarded.

Fob 01-22-2010 01:15 AM

shoulda tried to withdraw some money from an atm and see what happens.

Spudstr 01-22-2010 06:54 AM

I cannot explain how much I have a hate passion with BoA. Every single month, our main debit card account gets locked out due to the same transaction and we get to spend 30-45 minutes on the phone explaining to them why they are idiots and to unlock our card. I've been nice but it happens every single month. The same transactions lock the card and their special "notes" don't mean crap.
