You get that IP from Eric? Get it, send it to me and lets see if it matches anything I have from my board. I also have an open invite to coders I trust to come in and look around to see if there is something malicious on the site.

As far as I know, you are the only one to have this problem, and I honestly don't believe it came from our site. If someone is catching passes there in any manner, they would be having a field day, which they are not.

Someone has a lot of time on their hands.

i am telling you i logged in somewhere and other then GFY this is the only place i have ever tried to login using that pass. i am also on a brand new computer.

i think this other board should check with their other admins and see who is friends with who and it will explain it pretty fast.

Why did only your account get hacked? If someone on my board is stealing passwords somehow, why only you, and why only today, and why go through all that trouble, even using a proxy, just to make a post under your name to fuck with you, and how did you catch it within a minute of them hacking your account? None of that makes sense man.

Get that IP to me. Both of them. Lets see if they match with anything on my board. Send it to me on the IM there.

if the anonymous parties involved did it as a joke with no malicious intent then so be it. but if you think i go out of my way to bring up a topic as serious as this you should think otherwise.

Dude, I think I've asked 3 or 4 times now to give me the IP address you claim Eric gave you. I want to see if that IP matches anything on my site, if you have the IP at all.

You've posted threads, multiple ones, on more than one board. You already have posted about it, without proof. You won't even show me the IP you claim you have. How can I take you seriously when you won't even do that?

If you have an IP or two, send them two me. I just find it highly unlikely than someone stole ONLY YOUR password, from my site, just to hack into GFY and make 1 post under your name, and not change your password here to fuck you up. That just doesn't make a god damned bit of sense, when IF they can get passwords, they could take over everyones name, here or there or where ever it works. But hey, show me that IP and let me see if they were on my board.

Last, big fucking deal if VB stores you failed your attempt (and I'm not even sure where or if it stores that info). It doesn't tell me what the password was that you tried to enter. It doesn't show passwords. No one is hacking my VB to get your password. We just looked through all the templates, found squat. Maybe someone smarter than me can take a look around. I'll email you a copy of any template you want. Just tell me what it's called and your addy.

I've been looking through our templates and don't see anything unusual. If someone put something malicious into the site to steal his password (and only his), then I have not found it yet, but I'm still looking, line by line.

i do not have the IP. i never stated that. i asked Eric if it matched another poster and it did not. i already know if you check it there will be no difference. there is no point in yours or my time on it.

i am not making this up you can believe it or not. i am going to obey the rules of this board first and foremost.

this pass is not written down on any computers including email
the password was not hacked
the password was stolen and it is obvious
by stolen i mean someone saw logs of it
i only use this pass for 1 site GFY
i accidentally used the pass on another site
on this site i got a failed login attempts
VB can inform the admin when users have multiple pass attempts
VB can track your exact pass you try for failed login attempts
admin or someone with access to admin sees my pass
i have not entered my pass on any other site except GFY
the chances of brute forcing a pass from here are millions to one
someone then proceeded to use this pass on GFY because it is obvious where else i post compared to the site
they made posts in the Jdough thread and changed my avatar + info
they were only able to make 1 post because i noticed it less then maybe 1 minute after it happened

to note i enjoy your posts and have no malicious intent against you. and i will not point the finger at you. now i already did all the math.

Have you ever used VB? If so, you know this is not correct. Nothing was mailed to me telling me you failed at logging in. VB does not track the exact pass you tried to login with. It just doesn't work that way. Guys who have VB know this.

Of course if you are malicious, you can code it to do this, at least that is what some of the guys are saying, but VB default simply does not do this. I've been working professionally in this business for well over 10 years, and Mike South longer than I. To think either one of us would want to do such a petty thing, just to get into YOUR account and make a single post, is the most absurd thing I've ever heard of. Neither of us could give a shit about any of this, trolls, fake drama or any of it. We are the only two admins there. It sure as hell wasn't me and I know it wasn't him. There is no one else.

Then again, maybe I've been waiting in the shadows all these years, living on your every breath, for the chance to jump on your nick and make that post. When I saw you make that failed login, I instantly was alerted via my iPhone, which also sent me your password. I instantly knew it was your GFY password and logged into GFY as quick as I could to change your avatar and make a single post. My life is now complete. Well, almost. And I've never used my credit card in India but I got charges from there. Shit happens. You either made a mistake or someone here was able to get access to your account. No one saw your pass from our board. Had you simply sent a PM to me and not start MULTIPLE threads about it across a few boards, I would not be so quick to say you're looking for drama, but the fact you did, screams of someone trying to get attention for whatever reason, and using someone else's name to do it. So lets get this right. All within ONE MINUTE, you had a failed login attempt on my board, then an admin quickly stole that password, because they installed a script that could do so, then quickly logged into GFY as you, made ONE POST, and then you caught them, all within 1 minute? And of course, this has happened to no one but you. No one hacked my account, Mikes, or any of the other members from the board, only yours. Just to make 1 post on GFY. Have you actually sat back and read what you are claiming happened?

Come on man, what you are claiming is simply insane. You have a better chance of your account being hacked here than anything else. That DOES happen. But this one isolated incident, and only your password, it doesn't make sense anyway you want to look at it. If someone had access to passwords, they would have access to EVERYONE'S password, and that simply has not happened.
