Has that domain really made anyone any money? Between being hijacked, litigation and apparently being cursed. Is it worth the money? Hell, it even has poor SE placement for is own domain name. But its traffic seems decent when you look it up on compete and Alexa.

Can no one with that kind of discretionary investment monetize that son of a bitch?

It went for $14 million last time from what I understand. I don't think it will get there or even near this time around. But I could be wrong. There are some pretty wealthy domainers who I'm sure will be in the bidding.

No he wasn't making a killing. Don't get me wrong, he was making some money - but FAR from making a killing. By the time he got it back it had already lost most of it's real type-in value AND it took him a while to implement his PPC SE strategy. He left a lot of $$$ on the table because he wanted it to be a "white hat" property. Gary wasn't really a porn guy.

He had it in its' heyday. HE made millions!

With the drop in value of typeins, I doubt it will top 5 million. It is a great domain but i alos think porn.com is better for targeted traffic. this domain has sucked all of these years because it is not that great of a domain.
