to my knowledge the guy in question never stepped on me. A lot of people I know and respect dont' like him though, and that does OF COURSE cloud my judgement on the guy, but it still doesn't mean I don't want to meet him and judge for myself.

Who is this fraud? I imagine from what I read you where talking about Brad Shaw ..... why does everyone hate the guy? From what I can tell 98% or so of the people on this board hate the guy and I find it hard to believe that he has personally screwed that many people. Sure I hate the guy too, seems like the thing to do so Im game. We are all guilty of making preconcieved notions of others , but it seems intensified with such a 'hands-off' medium such as the internet. What that has to do with looking at people in mainstream jobs , I dunno.
