Groupie girls, even the coeds who bring chocolate chip cookies (we need some energy in between the "exercise" sex!)

daily calories intake cut it in half... 2000 calories and 500 fat calories stay under that, trust me its hard at first but once you figure out what not to eat ie candy bars, mcds, bk, pizzas, etc... it becomes easy. also cut out soda and juices with over 10g sugar per bottle. i eat about 1500 cal and around 300-400 fat cals a day. 15min workout a day, pullups, pushups and situps on a yoga ball. its a regular thing for me everyday so once you get a set routine down and just check the cals on food prior to eating you should be fine.

dyna u have to realize putting a grown man on such a caloric deficit will put his body into starvation mode. While on paper its correct, your body just doesnt work like that. I cant even begin to imagine the amount of muscle lost on that low of a caloric intake let alone how bad his energy level will be. A friend of mine who i trained started off about 165, at 5'7 she was a girl, obviously a little heavy, she was on 1600 cals a day and now sits at 125 pounds. The lower u go with the calories the worse it will be, he needs more frequent meals, id say about 2000-2200 calories, 400 calories a meal 5 times a day. thats more than enough to keep you full, and you will lose weight. Losing that amount of weight in 90 days without clenbuterol, steroids, ect and still maintain a healthy physique is close to impossible.

This sounds pretty reasonable...
I'm also very interested in checking this P90x thingy you all are talking about.
I've never heard of it, but sounds intriguing.

Thanks so much!

Seriously ? It's this job ... You sit at your computer all day and work. The best thing is to keep your metabolism going steady. Get an excercise bike or any sort of work out equipment. Use it very lightly in the morning, afternoon, and evening. Just enough to get your blood pumping (barely break a sweat if at all).

Second thing you need to do is eat more (yes you heard right) Eat breakfast, healthy bowl of cereal ... Then eat some lunch ... then eat dinner ... Healthy little snacks in between are helpful as well (like those 100 calorie snack packs)

What you need to do is retrain your metabolism. By eating regularly and excercising you are boosting your metabolic rate. If you just eat once a day your body *hibernates* and stores up fat waiting for that one meal a day. You want your body to be continuously burning energy.

I know this is common sense stuff but a lot of times people forget about the basics and just want *a pill*

About 6 years ago I wanted to get rid of a belly and love handles, did Atkins for 3 months and lost 15lb. Worked great (despite the criticism the diet gets).

This is completely true!
I've gained so much weight since I began spending more time behind my desk and less time 'on the field'.

i just signed up to this, looks solid.

I started doing 4 sets of these at home

right on, congrats on the success!
