I've upgraded some smaller systems, but not my main one yet. I'm impressed so far.

Nah... I still use XP and to tell the truth I'm not going to upgrade anything ...my machine works just perfectly, like swiss clock. It's super fast and got all the software I need. :pimp

Perhaps when I will need some another machine I will consider buying one with W7 preinstalled.

Same here, why change something what works perfectly?

Can anyone tell me which version I need to get IIS with it? I bought a new PC that has Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit (it'll be here Wednesday) but I'm thinking that won't have IIS. I hope I can add it on, though.

you gotta checkout MS site and their charts to see which ones have IIS in them. I personally enjoy Apache on my Win7

There are a bunch of reasons why I did. First off I use 64 bit and Photoshop 64 bit does NOT run on XP 64 bit. Only on Vista and 7
The next version of Premiere is going to be native 64 bit as well. And it too will not run on XP as 64 bit.

A lot of programs that are 64 bit won't run on XP and when they move to the next version they will have long left XP behind.

And of course in a few years there will be zero support for XP from Microsoft. http://support.microsoft.com/lifecyc...=en-gb&C2=1173

But the good news is that 7 really kicks ass. I loved XP. And when I went to Vista for the ability to use Photoshop 64 bit I was hating life. But 7 is like XP on steroids in my experience so far. :)

not yet... :pimp

I had less issues with Windows 7 RC than any other OS... ever...

Now that it's a full release just upgrade... I have yet to encounter a single issue with Windows 7. I understand the hesitation, especially after the debacle that was Vista, however Windows 7 is brilliant. You'll be very happy.
