In N Out is good but I always thought overrated. And definitely not worth the wait in line.

Fat Burger is really good and they have these monster ass fries that are pretty good. For national/global chains, I usually go with Burger King for burgers.

Get extra crispy animal style fries... might make em a skosh better... I absolutely hated In N Out fries until I discovered the extra crispy animal style.

Astroburger in Hollywood is good

in and out is better than white castle, hands down but fat burger is even better.
what they have in common: nothing is frozen, they do all from fresh ingredients..
i happen to love the fries at in n out, and as an added benefit they are the least un-healthy fries you can get...

Truth be told, I am not much of a fast food person, and fries are always low on my list of things I will order. That being said, I usually reserve fast food for when I am in a hurry (most likely will be driving). Animal style would just make the fries more messy to try and eat while driving.

White Castle is nasty by comparison. Ditto Krystal and Whattaburger (who are cheap knockoffs of White Castle, if you can imagine).

The only thing I miss since becoming a vegetarian is In-N-Out Burger. If I ever go back to meat, I know what my first stop will be.

In and Out is OK, love a 4x4 animal when I'm really hungry
But for after the bars close in LA, hands down it's Tommy's Chili Burger

I admit, I have not been to white castle since before most of you were born. All they had were these little things that were 50% chopped onion. Are you comparing one of those to a real hamburger or does WC have regular burgers as well?

out east, a greasy slider is the best drunk/stoner food there is. they are not nearly as common as McDs & BK so that makes them more exclusive.

but to answer your question, WC burgers are the same little things going back a century now.

Beastie Boys had a lot of rhymes about White Castle in their License to Ill album. Never understood why.
