Anyway, finally a president has done something monumental outside of starting a war.

I can list monumental stuff that ends in about the 80's, but Clinton did give us a surplus so lets stick democratic until they become as insane as the present day republicans...

Yea, Obama's budget deficit has never before been seen and Clinton slowly started the subprime mortgage/financial crisis. Dems will be out in November :)

Life was very fucking good under Clinton. The most money I have ever made was during the Reagan and Clinton administrations. Polar opposites, but the money flowed like champagne on New Years eve.

No you just have to point out all the errors I pointed out about republicans that were really promotions in that other post you were beating your dick about. No one will ever forget that and every time you open your mouth now they will think of that and know you are full of shit!

Personally, I don't know why you bother with this guy. I skim his posts, but ignore him. He is just not worth the keystrokes. One of the lamest trolls ever on gfy. The guy is a customer...not in the business and needs to go to a customer board somewhere. I am sure they exist.

Kinda funny how nobody ever responds to you in a real debate, instead electing to ridicule you. Does it suck that people in your own industry make fun of you? :)

The number one reason for this fucked up economy is the war in Iraq. That is a hard fix. Obama has done more to change the future of America than most presidents in history. All in just over a year. That is amazing. That is real power. You guys can all hold your breath until you turn blue, but this man is an historical game changer whether you like it or not. All you might do is buy a Corvette. No, he doesn't. His game is about yelling louder than whoever he's 'debating' and calling them stupid, claiming they use no facts, more name calling, claiming they know nothing, and then topping it off with....more name calling.

In fact, it's projection. He's putting exactly what he does on others and then is so oblivious to it he believes himself not only right, but superior. Sad and funny at the same time.

Now to be fair, you're quite the gem yourself. You don't argue or debate rationally. The Iraq war bankrupting the country (or whatever statement it was)? I had to roll my eyes at that too. It's one thing to be anti-war, we all should, but c'mon. Much like ol' Demon you let your ideology get in the way of your reason. You're no less partisan.

I would hope you both could do better.

What's sad and funny is you getting your ass kicked because you can't follow a debate logically or use facts. The name calling is completely warranted, not like you'd "get it". Carry on please;)

To be fair, I never said it bankrupted the country. I have said a lot of things and perhaps I slipped. Maybe you could quote me on that. I do remember saying that the cost of the Iraqi war could pay for this entire health care bill. Do you disagree with that? Also, ideology has nothing to do with it. It was and is a useless war fought for no reason. There never was any wmd. You can argue forever about the tyrannical Baathist regime. But there are much worse. So politics aside, there are not many that agree that this war is useful.
Come back.

edit: Everyone is partisan. That has no impact on what is right and what is wrong.

There's slipping and there's making shit up to rationalize your version of reality, which you do 100% of the time. But I'm glad you quickly changed your stance in that thread with hilarious misdirection. Nobody claimed the war was good or useful, nice try though troll :)

This economy was headed off the tracks long before the war in Iraq. Reagan, Clinton and Bush I all contributed. The S&L scandal at the end of the 80's was a harbinger of things to come.

Bush II certainly didn't help anything, and by making sure he propped up the economy to put off the collapse as long as he could so it wouldn't happen on his watch he really added to the problem. Neither Bush nor Obama have handled the bailouts and the recovery well at all. They're cherry picking and playing favorites. Why do you think Goldman Sachs, AIG and other big banks were allowed to keep bonuses and call their own shots while GM was brought to their knees and forced to declare Chapter 11? GM actually MAKES something and employs a lot of people up and down the line. It's all a metric fuck ton of bullshit.

As for the rest, I would MUCH rather spend money on health care than war. The war is a big lie, like most of them are. They lied about every fucking reason they invaded.

I'm not pointing out your ideology in connection with the war. War is horrible and shouldn't be tolerated no matter what your politics. I'm referring to your blind backing of health care reform bills and president Obama. The sooner people realize Obama serves the same masters on Wall St. that Bush did and the bill is a way to placate the masses while fleecing the nation the sooner we can get to the real business at hand which should be throwing them all out on their asses and reforming our government from the bottom up. Obama is taking marching orders just like Bush did. The country was about to explode the way it was going for 8 years, so they get Obama in there and lull everyone to sleep for a bit longer.

And not everyone is partisan. Some people are able to remain independent and support and vote on issues and candidates regardless of party affiliations.

hilarious :1orglaugh. What is that supposed to mean? Why are so many people trying to be political micro-managers? Isnt that why we vote for these people so they can go to Washington do the research and make the decisions we are entrusting them to make. How can anything get done if politicians have to check CNN, FOX or some blog for "public opinions" everyday before they decide whats best for their constituents?

Do constituents always know whats best for there district. NO! if they did we wouldnt need government we could all just gather up in town halls and yell until 59% of us are left standing then we can do what those people say.

Politicians are supposed to make hard decisions that maybe contrary to what the constituents think or know will better benefit their district as a WHOLE. Thats what they are paid to do. Then every 2 or 4 years we look at what they ACCOMPLISHED not what they talked or argued about and if you dont like the end result. Vote someone else in.

You think FDR would have decided to join the war and save the world from the nazis if he listened to what 59% of Americans wanted?

Bankrupt is a harsh word that I obviously never used. I still stand by the fact that you can't spend billions of dollars on a useless war that has no r.o.i. and not have it fuck up your economy.
As for who Obama serves? It is way too early to judge. A year and a couple of months is not the character of the administration yet. This is the time to piss people off. The let the redneck whippos fire off their broadsides till the majority gets sick of their venom. There will be more swiftboating I am sure, but enough already. The last year of his administration is the time you will know how well this is all working. Its classic Sun Tsu.
