Obama is taking marching orders just like Bush did. The country was about to explode the way it was going for 8 years, so they get Obama in there and lull everyone to sleep for a bit longer.

And not everyone is partisan. Some people are able to remain independent and support and vote on issues and candidates regardless of party affiliations.
