woow this is horrible news, just hear about it, let's hope the best and she can recover from this accident

Mutt 04-08-2010 02:50 PM

tragic - i don't know who told sharky 'minor signs of brain activity' but if it's an accurate quote from the doctors that sounds like she is in very poor shape. that they want to operate is something to hang on to - if they thought there was no point at all they wouldn't do it.

horrible, especially being so young. :Oh crap

st0ned 04-08-2010 02:53 PM

miss_bellabellini 04-08-2010 07:00 PM

This is terrible news:( Tabitha is an amazing person and was always so helpful to me when I was starting out in the industry, as well as just being a great friend to talk to.

Sending lots of positive thoughts her way and I really hope she is ok.

weekly 04-08-2010 07:09 PM

That is horrible news. Damn. Just damn.

Loch 04-08-2010 07:16 PM

Anyone have an update on this?
Seriously i cant believe this........

Adam_M 04-08-2010 07:19 PM

A lot of rumors about how she is but nothing solid. I was just reading an Email from her sent yesterday mornings. Very sad!!

Abbie 04-08-2010 07:34 PM

We were with Tabitha at the spa day event for us ladies. She was drinking quite a bit and from what I understand, she was escorted to her room after that and then went on her own and headed to Hooters, where it happened. My partner was sitting next to her when it did happen and was help up by police for statements etc.

I feel bad for the girl. We all wish her well. She was a blast at the spa day event.

rayadp05 04-08-2010 07:42 PM

That so sad to hear. I talked with her for a few hours last year during Internext while we were at a pool party and she was a very nice person. I sure hope she gets better. That's awful news to hear. :(

Hang in there Tabitha and I wish you the best.

Pornopat 04-08-2010 10:40 PM

7.40 am here in Europe and I am awake. Normally I get out at 10 am.
I gave up on tossing and turning.
Praying for you Tabita.....

I don't think I've seen very many sober people at any adult webmaster events, so I assumed she had been drinking to make the decision to sit on a 2nd story balcony railing. I would be willing to bet that most people who fall off balcony railings have been drinking. So yes, it was an assumption and apparently (going by what Abbie posted) I was right.

I still hope she recovers fully just like everyone else who isn't completely mindfucked.

You were right... fuckin booze... I cant believe no one told her to get off the railing... The damage as be done and I hope & pray she survives this.

Jman 04-09-2010 04:21 AM

It was an accident. A very tragic and unfortunate accident. I don't think it's fair to put that on the people who were around her.

When shit like this happens everyone goes through a list of "woulda, shoulda, coulda", but the reality is when tragic events happen thinking that way doesn't really help anyone.

Andy CHOOPA 04-09-2010 06:34 AM

Hoping for a positive update. Prayers for Tabitha

Lilit 04-09-2010 06:54 AM

OMG ... I can't believe, this is horrible. Tabi, our prayers are with you, please get well :(

Ugh, the sad thing is two years ago when we were up there she was sitting on the railing. She wasn't drunk at the time, but she did have a beer in her hand. I was giving her shit for it because it was freaking me out that she was up on a railing balancing and drinking.

While friends are not their brother's keeper, imho, nobody should have been serving her booze if she had already been drinking steadily all day as Abbie had mentioned. Tabitha is not the type of girl who is able to hide being drunk very well. She gets obviously drunk and anyone could spot it, you don't need to have SmartServe training to see it.

Hooters has some explaining to do. :2 cents:

Tx For the Update Mate...

Praying last night and this morning ...

Hoping she will be a little out of the woods ..

Sharky 04-09-2010 07:29 AM

Placing blame on an individual won't solve anything now. However I can only imagine that Hooters will be held responsible.

nation-x 04-09-2010 07:31 AM

sad event... :(

Martin 04-09-2010 07:37 AM

Sounds like she's in really bad shape. :(

wyldblyss 04-09-2010 07:46 AM

Wow! Goes to show that in one instant your life can be changed forever. It is so sad to hear of things like this. People can go on and on about if she was drinking, how much she was drinking, sitting where she should not have been sitting etc. and it still does not change the fact that something tragic happened. This isn't a time for blame or for woulda/shoulda/coulda but a time for pulling together and sending every positive thought we can muster her way. I don't care if people believe in positive energy, prayers or feel that none of it makes a difference, the fact is, it can't hurt at this point. So close those eyes and send those positive thoughts her way and maybe, just maybe she can grab on to them and use them as strength.

I see they now have signs up asking people not to sit on or lean against the railings. I take it these were not there before?

you really think hooters should be responsible?

so now, whenever someone does something stupid they are not at fault?!?!?

lets hear it for the death of personal responsibility.
