This is absolutely chilling. I trained Tabbie and spent a long time sitting next to her. She's a good person a good friend and an extremely hard worker. I have been at the Hooters so many times. Just keeping all hope that she makes it out of this and recovers quickly. Not much more one can say at this point.

Tabitha is a very close friend of mine, and I just heard about this a couple hours ago, and I still can't believe it.

well as far as comas - my uncle and aunt got run over by a tractor trailer, my uncle's fault, my aunt died instantly, my uncle was a complete mess, jaws of life, helicoptered out to a trauma center, doctors wanted to pull the plug, he was in a coma for 6 months, nobody had any hope for him - and suddenly one day he opened his eyes, he recognized family, began talking soon after and they quickly began rehabilitation - he spent another few months in a rehabilitation hospital and then home where he lived a very normal life, the only permanent damage was his balance, he walked like a punch drunk boxer but he golfed 18 holes walking a day for the next 10 years.

With all the negativity here, I wanted to add some more positive-ness to this tread - be it energy, prayers, just positive thoughts, whatever you want to call it. Whether you are a friend, business associate, or someone who didn't know her that well or not at all, the fact of the matter is a good person's life is now hanging in the balance. So I'd like to send my positive thoughts to Tabitha and to her family, friends, etc., and along with most human beings with a heart I will be hoping for the best.

Yeah it can happen, a guy I know was kept alive for 2 1/2 years in a coma. His wife refused to have the plug pulled even though the doctors were suggesting doing so. They spent all the millions of dollars they had saved up over the years because I guess his insurance capped out. One day she brought their rescue dog to the hospital. The dog licked his face and he woke up!
