40 years with a lesbian jailmate called bubbaclit is what i wish for her. People that drink and drive should get shot afterwards to make sure they dont do it again.

Calico Jack 04-15-2010 01:56 AM

Sad new indeed. My deepest condolences to you.

Oh my god man..:( I'm sorry for your loss.

justinsain 04-15-2010 06:33 AM

What a terrible thing to happen.

I'm sorry for your loss.

Drivers today are out of control whether it be by distraction, under the influence or just plain ignorant with little driving skills. Today I can drive from one side of town to the other and see 100 ticketable offenses by other drivers. It wasn't like that when I first got my license 35 years ago. I wonder what the roads would be like if all the people that didn't have a valid driving license were actually not driving.

I'm 100% a defensive driver and use the rear view mirror as much as the windshield. It's very important to know what's going on all around you at all times. When I stop at a light I always leave enough room between me and the car in front just in case I need to make an evasive move. It could be to avoid getting carjacked or to avoid getting hit by an out of control car but I always give myself a chance.

The bottom line is driving a car is a mode of transportation and the goal is to get from point A to point B safely. Why people insist on taking unnecessary risks putting their lives or the lives of others in jeopardy is beyond me. :Oh crap

PimpStar 04-15-2010 06:33 AM

very sad news, and even more how it is caused, this woman has nothing to say anymore, she killed a man and she knew that drunk driving puts others into big risks
from now on she deserves to be behind bars for a long time and she can never repay for what she has done, doing what she did showed she had no respect for life and that she is out there already is a big disgrace and a danger, hope your buddy is taken care off by God himself

pornguy 04-15-2010 06:41 AM

Really sad to hear about that. I have seen many accidents like that and a friend lost his brother in a motorcycle crash to a drunk.

what bothers me most is we lose enough good people that way to drunks and now people are trying to make it legal to get high. I see a big increase in this coming.

"drunk bitch" also has a 4 year old daughter. It's really a shame, there are no easy answers. I think most people are a tad hypocritical when it comes to drinking and driving. Who hasn't driven with alcohol or drugs in their system or at the very least let someone who has drive away ? almost nobody. It's just fools luck we havent either been killed or killed someone else.

I don't drink very often and even when i was younger i never drove "drunk" but i have driven with 1 or 2 drinks in me and have watched many a drunk driver , leave a " bar, party, event" enebriated and for whatever reason let them drive away, as i'm sure many people have.

At the very least we should remember these lessons , and the next time you are drunk or see someone drunk, DO SOMETHING.

I live in a rural area for the most part so my solution locally is pretty simple, BAN CARS, i know it sounds silly but seriously, we are so connected now there is no need for big fast cars. make everyone drive go-karts, make 2 roads, public transport like buses subways , and little go-kart cars that go 30kph.

countries where pot is legal , use is also much lower. Either way i dont see how making it "legal" would cause an influx in deaths. Granted they dont routinely check for weed in your system after an accident, i have never even heard of 1 accident or death caused by marijuana. Of the things that enebriate you or influence your ability to drive, i dont think marijuana is very high on that list compared to the thousands of mind altering legal drugs there are around.

bbobby86 04-15-2010 09:49 AM

Sorry, really sorry man...

Yes she does, and I feel bad for her kid as well, who is an innocent victim here. It's pretty sad all around.

Thanks for the support everyone

Horrible. I was hit by a drunk driver once. Guy tried to drive off but I grabbed the keys from the ignition until cops got there. Took him away in cuffs.

BigRod 04-15-2010 06:05 PM

That sucks man my condolences! Drivers these days are FUCKED!

I got hit in January by a drunk driver, he hit me with a jacked up F350 and never even touched the break. All of a sudden my decision to buy a gas guzzling H2 became a lifesaver!

JaneB 04-15-2010 08:22 PM

I am so sorry for your loss. It amazes me how the drunk person usually always lives.

My buddy was an air force vet, only 28 years old. The woman that killed him had a prior dui, she blew over twice the legal limit and had pills in her purse. She hit him from behind while he was at a red light, and the accident was so bad you could barely tell two cars involved.

I dunno why I'm posting this, just pissed and wanting to vent I guess.

dood what sucks is I know the girl very well.... very very well... miranda she has won many tourney's for quick draw shooting... just sucks that some don't learn it's not good to drink and drive...

my view on the whole thing....

I know the girl very well and I hope she burns in hell for taking another life while being drunk

Wow, small world man.

Some of her friends are fighting with some of our friends on one of the news sites. Miranda's email, facebook and yahoo got hacked and she ended up deleting them. It hasn't been a very pleasant week.

Paul was a very stand-up guy who would stick up for his friends and his beliefs, and he partied too but he always had a place to stay or his sister would drive him home. He was a decorated air force vet, and he didn't deserve this.

I feel bad for Miranda's kid, I really do. But she didn't learn after her 1st dui, she made her choices, and I hope the judge locks her up for a long time.

cam_girls 04-15-2010 11:13 PM

shame, 40% of car accidents are being hit from behind

Sorry for your loss. It seems just about everyone has a story of someone they know that was killed by a drunk driver, pretty sad.

15 years ago my buddy had a few drinks and took a short drive down the road to go get some smokes at the store on his new bike. No one even realized he left the part until we heard sirens and went to see what the commotion was, turns out he hit the back of a parked flatbed truck at about 100km/h and was killed instantly. Thankfully he didn't kill anyone else, but still really sad.

Sharky 04-16-2010 01:24 PM

Wow. That is horrible. Sorry for your loss.

I believe my dad once told me, "nothing good can come from being out past midnight"

Drunk drivers scare me. If i see a car swerving on the road, I have no problem calling the police to check it out for this exact reason. Noone deserves to die for someone elses mistake.
