If anyone knows of some cool place to see anywhere between LA and Chicago, and preferably to the south of I-80 give a shout out. If you live in some crazy cool place and want to show it off for a day, speak up. We want to see it.

I drove one of those things once man, it's like driving a tank. The windows are so fucking tiny its like you are watching everything through a little slit :2 cents:

Pics are great Lloyd, I've also been checking them out on Facebook. Keep them coming, I'd love to drive across the USA one time in my life. There is so much to see and do. I've only been to 5 different states which is pretty pathetic. Hoping to make up for that this year tho, I'll be taking weekend trips to a few more.

I didn't read it all, did you take Route 66, that back road is fun. I drove it years ago.

We are still on the road. Just got back from Mesa Verde and are enjoying lunch in Cortez, CO. Looking at the weather map in a few to see which direction we are going from here. Thinking Albuquerque for the petroglyphs. Not sure where after that. Tornadoes happening anywhere?

I think I am about 1/4 way through it now.

We spent today in New Mexico, with a good portion of it checking out Bandera Volcano and the ice cave along side it. From the top you can see that NM has a couple dozen volcanoes between Gallup and Albuquerque. NM really is a land of enchantment.
