There are a lot of Republicans who jumped on the Tea Party bandwagon and it's perfectly fair to ask where they were during Bush's reign.
BUT ... a lot of them are independents and libertarians who loathed Bush and the two party system. Many of them are Ron Paul supporters and when he lost the Republican primaries began organizing events that were inevitably going to attract Republicans who are more "anti-democrat" than pro-something. It's not really fair to generalize any group... and personally I'm far more interested in what their movement is for than what they are against. |
I like the Tea Party movement.
Republicans vs Republicans is great for the left. A third party? Again, that's fine with me too... A Tea Party candidate will suck up right leaning Independents, and disenfranchised Republicans WAY more than it will diminish the Dems, so go for it! The Tea Party and Fox News cannot be separated - do the math. |

I was reading about Cap and Trade today, there are some scary shit in that. The EPA will have control over if you can sell your house or not according to some sources based on if your house meets current standards of efficiency, still reading it to figure out where they got that. |

BTW, those making 25k are paying nothing, most all taxes now are being paid by those in the top 50%. So in this country, the harder you try, the more the US will tax you, and if you're an employer, you will look even harder to reduce your expenditures. Did you ever get past simple algebra in high school, ever take an economics class? |

Uhm, do you not understand the math in this illustration? The top 1% is a subset of the top 50%. I find it really dismal that what should be a serious political dialogue about how to fix serious problems is instead a couple of rival high school football teams shouting meaningless slogans at one another. |

Answer this : Where do the rich people who pay all those taxes get the money from? Do they get the money from other rich people or do they get it from the other 50% that they gouge the fuck out of for medical/cars/rent/water/phone/electric/gas Who the fuck really paid the government?????? Who's money is it really?? You act like the people paying rent don't work. Renters go to work and the property owner stays home and jacks off all day and you think the owner "earned" all this money on his 40 apartments that rent for $1000 a month. Get the fuck outta here. The fat slob inherited the money to build the apartments to begin with. Where is all this WORK??????? Here's an idea, let the rich pay only 10% tax and then regulate their business so they can't gouge us; then see how fast they want the old system back. You can tax the rich and fix what they don't care about or you can let them run crazy until the poor rise up and kill them all like it happened in every other country that allowed the rich to run wild. The best way to teach people about letting the rich run crazy is to let the rich buy all the lakes, rivers, ponds, etc and leave people to survive off rain unless they can pay $5k a month for a facet. Only then will the dumb motherfuckers wake up. (yes, somebody will dig a well. But they will die from toxins leaked into the ground water by some rich fucker's textile mill :1orglaugh) Further more, rich people should pay more because they use more resources. Poor people are not : - creating air/noise pollution by flying in jets on business/vacation - wasting tap water to fill their swimming pools. - driving H2 Hummers and burning up all the oil reserves - throwing out tons of furniture/clothes/toys etc that go to LAND FILLS! - operating a fleet of tractor trailer trucks blowing black smoke and cluttering highways - watering 10 acres of front and back yard grass with city water - Committing crimes that cost $5 million to prosecute - dumping toxic waste on the ground - owning food establishments that need to be inspected - asking for security to sail boats by Somalia :1orglaugh - lobbying congress about their import tariffs/NAFTA/etc... - on - and on - and on - and on - and finally, not a single poor mother fucker got a bailout with all this tax money Get real. |

Ask someone that lives in Detroit, that town is a ghost town, when the car plants were there, they did great, but the unions kept getting the workers more money and more benifits, then NAFTA happened, so now, you buy a new Dodge Pickup and you'll be driving a truck assemblied in Mexico. A lot of US made cars are assemblied in canada over the years too |

Now go back to playing D & D, fucking your dad, sucking on your whore of a mom's tit or whatever it is you do, pig. And get the fuck out of my thread, you little girl. You know, your the kind of faggot that would give your bastard of a dad shit because instead of feeding you poppers and simply letting you just suck him off on the toilet he'd just as soon just give your dumb ass a blumpkin as a token of the failure of a life you live every fucking day. Now go make me a sandwich, you stupid motherfucker:1orglaugh:1orglaugh:1orglaugh |

Gouge, ...shut the fuck up. Are you girls going out or something? I dont know who this person is. No idea who the fuck you are. Why was he insulting me in the first place? I'm usually super nice here. Unless people start attacking me. I have no enemies here to speak of, have no one blocked on this board. But calling me names, was not called for... Btw, my rebuttal was crazy beautiful.

I have seen plenty of black and hispanic people in the tea party. How are they racist? I also want to know why black people can have the NAACP and black history month. If there was a group celebrating white pride or a white history month, all hell would break loose. It would be considered racist. I hate double standards. |

always stuck with: cleaning up their garbage, handling employment suits, inspections, managing unemployment benefits, environment impact studies, building more streets to easy congestion caused by people visiting the business, more cops, investigating robbery of their business, adding more street lights to be safer, providing cops to reroute traffic during construction of the business, making sure contractors are licensed, investigating work place accidents some resulting in death(mine shaft!!!?), making sure the hairstylist knows how to do it, testing and approving new drugs that sell for $12 a pill, building new water mains to carry the volume needed by new business, making sure terrorist don't get on the plane, etc...etc..etc... So they need to pay more taxes and STFU. Regarding the auto industry; frankly I think Toyota, BMW, Saab, Volvo, Volkswagen, Mercedes-Benz, Nissan, Hyundai, Jaguar, and a few others had more to do with that issue than some government thing that hurt Detroit. Bullshit, Detroit got fucking trounced with higher quality machines from foreign countries. As far as paying employees "too much"; businesses only pay what they can afford no matter what. I'll worry about too high pay causing a business to go under as soon as the NFL fails. You want to fix the economy, then fix the school system. People with "Einsteinian" brains can't afford to go to college and that's why they never got a chance to invent the engine that would have saved Detroit. We need more brains, which only means more people with education. Look at the Japanese running circles around us in micro chip technology and other tech sciences. Here's a mind blower for you : Rap(hip hop) music is one of America's most profitable export products. A CD produce for $40k can take in millions in foreign markets. That's a large profit margin even if the gross is no that impressive. The ghetto is producing better than these stupid business that just push paper around the office and call it work. We've got huge buildings everywhere and nothing ever comes out the building except paper(forms/bills/legal/garbage). We can't export that shit!!!!!!!! That's what's wrong with the economy....WE DON'T PRODUCE SHIT, but paper. I just looked around and notice my: - Japanese computer - Japanese synthesizer - Japanese cell phone - Japanese printer etc... But hey, all not bad. I do have some clunky assed American furniture and.............. lots of paper. :disgust |

To remind dim witted people like you about this : See you are the reason that they exist, I don't need to learn that shit, I lived it. That fact that you even asked such a stupid question is why it's needed. Yes we have great services in this country, but if you watch the news, they are suffering. In California, the schools suck ass, I raised my daughter in this shit, my sister moved to Penn. and the schools are such a big difference. WHat's the difference, California doesn't have the money, yet we get more taxes on us than most any other state, where are they spending it, oh, things like illegal aliens crossing the border, squirting out a baby and living on welfare for that one kid, San Bernardino county paid out something like 87 million dollars to these people last year, got to wonder how an illegal alien is cashing a welfare check? Yeah, Japan makes a better car, wait, except Toyota And nothing is made in Japan anymore, now it's made in Taiwan And I want to leave this with one little fact If you're going to play the race card against the republicans, you probably don't know that the republican party was founded on ANTI-SLAVERY and the first republican president was Abe Lincoln http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Republi...(United_States) |
The moron also has no idea that modern conservatism is loosely based on classical liberalism while modern liberalism is based on nothing.

1. Too expensive to produce in America? - Then explain Japan; it's more expensive to produce there my friend. But they know that the brain power is not in some 3rd world hell hole so no matter how cheap the foreign labor they do better keeping the work at home. 2. Race card. - If some one would accuse Susan Smith of playing the race card when she murdered her children and blamed it on a Black man then I would actually consider that a race card existed. But instead, it's just another way to say "shut up nigga your history is a lie". 3. Abe Lincoln: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Abraham_Lincoln_on_slavery : - During the American Civil War, Lincoln used the war powers of the presidency to issue the Emancipation Proclamation, which declared "all persons held as slaves within any State or designated part of a State, the people whereof shall then be in rebellion against the United States, shall be then, thenceforward, and forever free" but exempted border states and those areas of slave states already under Union control. Lincoln only cared about crippling the rebelling states. This fantasy story of him loving slaves is total garbage. :1orglaugh http://usgovinfo.about.com/library/weekly/aa082800a.htm Further, do you really believe Blacks should praise Lincoln simply because he wanted to act like a reasonable person when it came to the treatment of other humans? Do you deserve a medal because you didn't rape someone today????? Lincoln is praised by Blacks because of his performance as president, not because he had some kind of affinity with Black people. That shit is ridiculous. Back to playing the race card : Plain and simple : People can't play cards that haven't been dealt. Stop dealing off the bottom of your fucking deck. After 300 years of getting cards from the bottom of the deck a nigga looked at his hand and said "Gin Rummy"; and that's what made you mad. You're just angry dude. You think Black people are taking something from you. It's called fear. Fear of the unknown. "What will they do? They don't think like us." Fear. Pathetic unfounded fear. |
Quote:
I have no anger to any race, why would I, I grew up in Camarillo California, most families were hispanic, what that meant to me was great food and funny Music It's people that can't let go of the past and move on , using it as anger to try and rise above it like it's pride, they're putting themselves in a different class of people. Not everyone else. Thru the centuries, every race has been in slavery |
Quote:
That's funny/weird/scary all in one. I kind of want to see the whole movie now. |
Quote:
But failure to acknowledge the past is why people say "history repeats itself". People have to learn from mistakes, but when people start defending those mistakes the problem will rise again. But it's not in the past when Tea Baggers hold up signs talking about "white slavery". (Which BTW actually refers to captive sex slaves of any race):1orglaugh To say these signs have nothing to do with the fact that the president is black is just false. I mean, do Tea Baggers think white leaders are going to enslave white people???? If not then who are they referring too?? Come on. See it for what it is then people will move on. That's just promoting fear of a "Black take over" with malice towards Whites. Promoting fear is a republican trade mark of business. WMD anyone??? |
Quote:
When christianity started, they got people in the pews talking about hell, that's what raised the most interest. One sign does not a movement make, remember they are not organized yet, people are just getting together in peaceful protest and reminding their elected officials they were watching what they're doing and they don't like it. Any group is going to have a town idiot, judging the group by one idiot is narrow minded. Sort of like watching the LA riots and thinking all black people are like that, or when New Orleans was under water, the news only showed the poor sections. Somethings are way too sensitive, like what would you think if made a thread and had a picture of me eating a watermelon, on the title it said watermelon eater, you would come in the thread mad. |
