I totally agree with taxing churches and preachers... bye bye deficit. :2 cents: I have met alot of preachers wearing $2000 suits, driving caddies, wearing jewelery and living in free houses in my life. There are alot of them here in the south. We recently had one busted locally... read how this fucker was living... lol... and the funny part is that he is STILL the preacher at his church... http://greatersalem.org/
http://www.wbtv.com/global/story.asp?S=10391403 http://www.justice.gov/usao/ncw/press/jinwright.html http://www.charlotteobserver.com/201...count-for.html As far as gay marriage, the only people who have any real concern about it are insecure or religious... :2 cents: The current way the laws work is ridiculous... most people have no idea what gay people go through if they aren't married and one of them gets sick or passes away... the law of the land is separation of church and state and we have seen a continuing erosion of that separation over the last 30 years as churches and preachers have turned religion into a multi-billion (BILLION) dollar industry. Religion, as an industry, makes the porn industry earnings look like chump change and the great majority of their earnings are not taxed a dime. The GOP position that marriage is between a man and a woman as the "sanctity of marriage" is a religious philosophy and not one based in law or common sense. |
i think it's gay/ ...kidding

just one more reason to dislike christians.
they're the only reason we're stressin this bullshit along with abortion instead of global starvation and important shit like that. |
It is like Coors beer in the 70's and In-n-Out today. People want what they can't have.

The issue is more of equality than anything else; why should any of the competing schools be granted exceptional legal status? Remember we came (are still coming) from theistic roots, and even since the Enlightenment there's still a lot of vestigial theism. In that sense resistance toward gay marriage shouldn't be much of a surprise... society and indeed government still have quite a way to go in terms of diverging from the church. I guess it's as KILL_FRENZY suggests (and I speak very generally here), you're probably not solving any problems by derailing religious people who by very nature have chosen to follow rather than lead in their own judgement. There's every chance they'll just align to another ill conceived cause... there's far less merit in persuasion than there is choice. |

IF guys want to commit to being nagged by other guys for life, go for it. Its about #7642 on my list of cares or concerns in todays world.

fuck gays !!
|
I feel sorry for gays who live in countries where gay marriage is still prohibited
but i think they just should relax and wait for some time as nowdays traditional marriage is getting less and less popular and it's getting successfully substituted by civil unions, domestic partnerships etc |

Selling gay marriage is like selling cigarettes. Sure, some products can be bad for you, but they sell them anyways. But, smoking cigarettes has good effects on the gums, sometimes. Joking.
