One day in the future we will start colonizing other planets. Mars will no doubt be first, followed by others. There will come a time when gays can have their own planet all to themselves, and every gay man and every lesbian woman will want to go. They will happily leave Earth and move there. To the gay planet. They will form their own government and create their own laws, even have their own church. The sky will be pink instead of blue.

On that day all the "normal" people back on Earth, the churchies and the homo-hating rednecks and such, who've spent their lives bitching about and hating on and rallying against gays at every turn will have no choice but to find something else to complain about. No doubt some of them will be happy the gays are gone, but I'm sure many others will seeth in their hatred and look for ways to further torment the gays. They'll say "Look, the gay planet has a cleaner atmosphere than ours! Those homos 'n rug munchers have better WEATHER than us! Cleaner WATER! Healthier crops! BETTER FASHION!!"

Before long someone will inevitably scream out the fateful phrase; "LETS INVADE THEM!"

It will be a quick war.

And before you know it we'll be back where we started. TOGETHER. Because those who bitched the loudest were surely the ones who will miss them gays the most.

The end.

No I think they prefer to share their own with their fellow man

and vice-versa.

raven1083 04-23-2010 07:12 PM

what it is to you in the first place?

Spunky 04-23-2010 07:58 PM

They should be able to if they want too.doesn't bother me

brentbacardi 04-23-2010 08:42 PM

I personally think the government should have ZERO involvement with marriage. Let your church, religious rules, or just whatever you decide dictate what you do.

BAKO 04-23-2010 09:25 PM

Gay people are cool so let them do whatever they want :)

I totally agree with taxing churches and preachers... bye bye deficit. :2 cents: I have met alot of preachers wearing $2000 suits, driving caddies, wearing jewelery and living in free houses in my life. There are alot of them here in the south. We recently had one busted locally... read how this fucker was living... lol... and the funny part is that he is STILL the preacher at his church... http://greatersalem.org/

As far as gay marriage, the only people who have any real concern about it are insecure or religious... :2 cents:

The current way the laws work is ridiculous... most people have no idea what gay people go through if they aren't married and one of them gets sick or passes away... the law of the land is separation of church and state and we have seen a continuing erosion of that separation over the last 30 years as churches and preachers have turned religion into a multi-billion (BILLION) dollar industry. Religion, as an industry, makes the porn industry earnings look like chump change and the great majority of their earnings are not taxed a dime. The GOP position that marriage is between a man and a woman as the "sanctity of marriage" is a religious philosophy and not one based in law or common sense.

Poindexterity 04-24-2010 07:42 AM

just one more reason to dislike christians.
they're the only reason we're stressin this bullshit along with abortion instead of global starvation and important shit like that.

It is like Coors beer in the 70's and In-n-Out today. People want what they can't have.

Churches are a blight on society. Make them pay taxes like the rest of us, or ban them.

:2 cents:

I think that's a bit acute (the ban part). You don't have to be theistic to blithely follow gospel. There are plenty of atheistic denominations with special interests, some of which will inevitably have their heads in the clouds too. If anything, it's the government that should be banned from instituting such legislature.

The issue is more of equality than anything else; why should any of the competing schools be granted exceptional legal status? Remember we came (are still coming) from theistic roots, and even since the Enlightenment there's still a lot of vestigial theism. In that sense resistance toward gay marriage shouldn't be much of a surprise... society and indeed government still have quite a way to go in terms of diverging from the church.

I guess it's as KILL_FRENZY suggests (and I speak very generally here), you're probably not solving any problems by derailing religious people who by very nature have chosen to follow rather than lead in their own judgement. There's every chance they'll just align to another ill conceived cause... there's far less merit in persuasion than there is choice.

IF guys want to commit to being nagged by other guys for life, go for it. Its about #7642 on my list of cares or concerns in todays world.

LoveSandra 04-24-2010 12:22 PM

fuck gays !!

dalila 04-24-2010 01:48 PM

I feel sorry for gays who live in countries where gay marriage is still prohibited
but i think they just should relax and wait for some time as nowdays traditional marriage is getting less and less popular and it's getting successfully substituted by civil unions, domestic partnerships etc

Selling gay marriage is like selling cigarettes. Sure, some products can be bad for you, but they sell them anyways. But, smoking cigarettes has good effects on the gums, sometimes. Joking.
