I've eaten at

Mugaritz
Arzak
Martin Berasategui

Lived in the Basque country for a few years. San Sebastian is a crazy city, only 200k people but 3 restaurants in that list.

I've eaten at the #3, The Fat Duck, a couple of years ago. 15 or so courses of really amazing flavors.

such a great list! Thanks for this one

Never ate in any of them. Best meals I ever had was in the Savoy in London and the Excelsior in Koln. Worse was in a Blue Ribbon restaurant in Las Vegas.

Excellent choice of restaurants indeed.

Ate at the fatduck in bray a couple of years ago, it was amazing. Snail icecream for desert(tastes better than it sounds) gives you an idea of the kind of thing they throw at you. Definately a few curveballs. My wife and her family had a meal at El Bulli two years ago and two of the party puked afterwards! Not because it was bad but because their stomachs couldn't cope with the sensations!

ha ha, a friend's brother works there and he told me about that waiting list and I thought he was lying. Weird thing is I've never understood how people knows they'll be in Barcelona on a certain date to eat an overpriced meal

my brother actually planned the trip, and in fact ended up scheduling his wedding to coincide with it.... Like I said, he is an UBER foodie. :)

The problem might have been Amsterdam ;) I have yet to meet a person that listed food as one of Amsterdams finer points.

I think you can find some great places in Amsterdam, not a huge fan of Dutch cuisine but so many other types of restaurants to choose from.

I got fat on fine dinning, but unfortunately I have never been to any of these:(

I love having dinner parties for "foodie" friends. Just about to clean my BBQ and fire her up actually. All this talk of good food is making me hungry.

I made this for friends a while back. I called it "Seafood Hot & Cold"

Hands down the #1 best mexican food place in the US is Guayos on the Trail, it is in Globe, AZ. It holds several awards over 40 years. Normal price but not normal food! Globe is 45minutes east of Phoenix. If you are ever in the area or live in AZ stop by and enjoy it!!
