Rome, Heathrow, Newark, and Atlanta are the only ones I've ever had problems at.
Madrid wasn't really all that great, but I only departed from there at 8am with the night before still flowing through my body.. haha |

Heathrow sucks ass big time!!!!
Nothing but security checks and bunch of Indians that just stand there and talk to each other in their language. |

I hate Atlanta but probably because we can within an inch of life landing there. Favorites ... BWI and FTL. I've taken that Bmore/Ft. Lauderdale trip many times and have never had a moments delay, security problem, baggage problem or anything else go wrong. |

Seriously, Heathrow is a shithole, but that's a stupid (and racist, btw) reason. :2 cents: |

JFK for me!!!

Miami is absolutely 1 of the worst, no one speaks English anymore, like you are in a foreign country. The drivers will not move even when the cops are yelling at them to move move move. Customs is always about 1,000 people deep and no special lines for US citizens half the time. Hmmmmmm can you tell I hate this place ? ? ? |
Rome airport Fiumicino was the worst for me so far...
|
LA is a nightmare. Stanstead next worst. No issues with Australian or Asian airports. Singapore perhaps the easiest to figure out.

Any Airport that makes you have to go back through security when going between terminals sucks balls.
There's nothing like coming in on a delayed flight and having 30 mins or less to run through an airport to get from Termina B to Terminal C and - oh shit- you've gotta go through security again. The first one that comes to mind is Newark / Liberty. I am pretty sure JFK as well. DFW might... can't remember. Tampa is always my first or last stop, so I've never had to hustle throuhg it, but I can imagine if you were stressed and pressed for time and you had to get from A to C it might be an evil bastard as well. I like O'Hare, I see it getting shit on, but it doesn;t throw you through security between flights and I really do love those toilets. Women in public restrooms pee on the seats like nobody's business. Filthy animals. I love that at least there's one airport where I don't have to deal with that. |
Worst experience - Rome - leaving for NYC in May 2008
I've never received so much "treatment" -they delayed the flight for like an hour, and after I made my 45 minutes of questions they immediately gave me another strip search, like if I'd be able to shit grenades.. At least it was a cute Italian girl that was searching me Like I have no clue whatsoever, it was me and some young black girl that received this much love from customs, either they confused me with someone or I have no clue nuts Never had any problems in US, apart from two six packs of Czech Budweiser and two bottles of red wine confiscated in Chicago, as I made it too late at the airport for a proper check in :) |
All the airports make me feel like a criminal. I think all the security is a great thing, but my son was taken out of line one time on the way to denver and searched.
At the time, he was 10 years old. Didn't make any sense to me. That was 11 years ago. |

For me, I would say O'Hare is always a guaranteed hassle and Laguardia is about as ghetto as I have seen. |
Luckily I don't have worry about all that crap. Haven't flown in 25 years. Don't see myself doing it anytime soon.
