Some business owners do not pay an invoice if there is no invoice to pay. It's plain and simple record keeping. No invoice, no pay. Pretty simple, IMO.

It's because people do not get you the invoices once you pay them. I have had this issue with many over the years, which is why I now do it this way to make sure I get my docs for taxes.

That said, this guy could have contacted me any number of ways to be paid. I have yet to receive any EMAIL/IM/PM/PHONE CALL from him. Hell, he could have posted it ON THE FORUM and it would have been paid immediately.

Agreed....I tend not to pay without an invoice, I have no issues forcing people to send me an invoice. I do sometimes make acceptations... like one guy couldn't email me, tried from several accounts - so I just paid him.

Now, if someone took something like this to the boards, being that I own my own company, I can bend the rules to end the situation when I know who to pay.

This is round two of the issue... it could have been solved on round one.

End of the day... I can print the job emails as my invoice and hand write who I paid on it, that's still a legal invoice.

Whatever issues I had with Barefootsies has been resolved. While his business practices seem to run a bit "spammy", he no longer has any outstanding debts with me.

Look at time stamp and my reply between posts. I was still typing.

Once received, was paid.

I always request a paypal invoice 1st before I send funds, this way I have several methods of payment since I don't keep funds in my paypal acct. Also when gathering records for your taxes it is easy to just sort by Invoice.

I do the same for everything.

My assistant need to submit their time sheet the week prior with hours, and tasks per day (log). The handy man working on my house the past two years needs to submit them before payment (learned that lesson the hard way big time!), konrad, Prezzz, borked, Spannow all have submitted invoices the same way.

All paid once received. Never had an issue.

I am not going to rehash months worth of b.s. that has already been publicly discussed on another forum. Suffice to say, those remarks are not accurate.

Cliff notes.

1. This was months ago before I had gotten into hosting, and when I was moving servers.
2. I never took delivery of his scrapper. Which he can verify never installing it.
3. The foot fetish and tickling content my production company makes is legal and licensed. The content for tube sites is also legal and licensed by Loch. Konrad licenses my tube script and provides unlimited, and ongoing support.

The only REAL gripes about me that are tangible would be I am aggressive marketing on forums, and that annoys some people. Fair enough. I admit that. I make a lot of money off the forums because of it.

I have sold celebrity sites and work with celebrity content the same as many programs do here on GFY. Whether you think celebrity niche is right or wrong, make sure you take their banner out of your sig before commenting. I'll also expect to see you in every program's celebrity thread on the board from now on.

Celebrity niche is just like tube sites. It's that big turd in the punch bowl for the adult industry, many affiliates, and programs. However, most want to deny or refuse to acknowledge having anything to do with it.

I read the thread on the other board. You got your ass handed to you by everyone for not paying the guy and dodging him. Then when everyone got fucking sick of your back and forth deflecting bullshit that had been going on for weeks, the mods just told everyone to STFU and drop the subject.

First, no one besides you blatanly sells celebrity content packages. Programs run celeb sites, but that's different - you can use "borrowed" celeb images if it's in the context of "news" or "reviews"- like Mr.Skin has been doing for years.

Simply selling celeb content you have no rights for = selling stolen content. Period.

Bottom line is you by basically selling stolen content that belongs to photogs. And your argument is: "if everyone else is doing it - i can do it too!" (but besides you, no one else is actually doing it)
