I like checks because it is typically the only free option. It usually takes no more than 5-7 days to get to me. I leave the house on a regular basis, I go through the bank drive through once a week or so which takes me a whole 5 minutes. I deposit the checks. wow thats hard..
Now if a company is willing to send me a wire for free, i'll be glad to accept it. But I think you have to be an idiot to pay $20 - $30 to receive your money. Do the math, even if it is bi weekly, that is still 26 times a year. Now say you promote 5 different companies. I don't care how much you make if you want to piss away $2,000 - $3,000 a year in just fees so you can collect your money a couple days earlier, then you are an idiot. I don't know how hard it is to cash checks in other countries, I am speaking as someone living in the US. It is rather simple here. open mail box. open enevelope, next time i pass the bank (which is almost every other day) spend a couple minutes in drive though, deposit check, save a couple thousand dollars. Doesn't seem like rocket science to me. |
