I have absolutely no explanation for that. I'm with Verotel and they don't decline transactions

Well these stats are my mixed stats as I work with +75 sponsors but my 2 main sponsors are ccbill sites to who I send about 80% of my hits.
Since 4 years I make a living with these CCBILL sites so it is not a matter that these sites should not convert as I made tons of money with them and my traffic stream to them was never bigger than this month (I am not talking of sending < 10K of hits per day but much more).

I see I am still converting with other sites but almost NOT with CCBILL.
Funny thing is that I make conversions with NATS sites that made my 1st or 2nd sale for this year (I only send a few hits per day to these sites) but most of my traffic to CCBILL sites does NOT convert since May 16. I mean: I make only 15% of my normal sales and that is absolutely NOT normal.


My main NATS sponsor's conversion ratios:
March 2010: 1:2148
April 2010: 1:1389
May 2010: 1:1021

You see: with the same traffic my conversion ratio is better for May 2010 and thanks to this sponsor I have made some money the last week....


I don't blame anybody but this situation with the ccbill sites is getting out of control.

Are there other webmasters who see the same thing in their conversions with CCBILL sites ???

And since the 17th I make only a few sign ups per day...
I had my very worst ccbill week last week (from Sunday to last Saturday) since I first started in adult and it is NOT getting better now...
If this situation continues I will have a new record next Saturday...

If this continues I'll have to start testing Epoch with my own traffic.. and then eventually make that switch from CCbill to Epoch once again.. i did that with succes with my first program. (But I prefer to not do that again)

You guys need to get NATS (or even MPA!) and take control of your business.

Relying one processor no matter who it may be is not a good idea. I've seen customers increase sales & lower ratios dramatically by using 5, 6, 7, or even more different processors depending on geo information, the site, time frame, etc. Its not just a simple matter of being able to go to another processor on a decline, its much more than that. Those who understand and practice this have very good overall ratios.

Plus, putting all of your eggs in one basket, pointing your links/affiliate links at a domain you don't own, and letting a 3rd party own/control your affiliate data is never ever a good idea.

I know.. I was in contact with both companies.. for me it's not yet the right time to make that switch..

But the last 5 years I did get my wire with dollars every Tuesday morning from ccbill...
I never had any problem with them untill now...

CCBill is a fantastic company and run by great people. But, that doesn't mean you don't need a tool to utilize them & others to their full extent.

Some people wonder about the switch over.

We always do a full affiliate import & link redirect at no cost when someone gets NATS for their program. Its actually a very easy switch over.

There are a LOT of features in NATS and it can make the admin seem a bit overwhelming at times, but if you are sticking to the basics and setting up a normal standard type affiliate program its actually very easy. On the other hand if you choose to, you can get into every little detail and tweak everything as you like it. The extent is up to you.

I'm in the same boat. I'm only seeing a few rebills from ccbill. ZERO sales in a week and I've been growing consistently for quite awhile and this happens.

Imagine Youtube started showing any full length movie you wanted to see. Do you think this would affect DVD / cinema revenue. Cos that is basically what has happened to us.

Good question, i would say its because the powers that be WANT to destroy the online porn business. Any helpful legislation that arises will come from mainstream i.e. movie industry going after torrents etc.

We have suffered already from tubes since mid 2008 but since that time my sales were stabile and steady.
This is a much bigger issue.

People just don't signup anymore. It's the number one reason. Face the facts. It's not a CcBill issue.

When it comes to fraud scrubbing:
I did get another report from one of my main ccbill sponsors:

This year I have made 516 new sales, on that number I had 7 chargebacks, 1 void and 1 returned check.

2009: 1526 new sales 8 chargebacks, 4 voids and 9 returned checks.

Credit Crunch. Chargebacks are up. Times are tougher.

I just wanted to make a statement that I DO NOT have too many chargebacks, voids and returned checks. Only a very small percentage...

FYI:
I run 20+ paysites (see sig). 7 or 8 make consistent sales, 4 or 5 make occassional sales and the rest (all sites 3+ years old with no updates) act as 'bonus sites'.

The 7 or 8 sites that make sales every day range from 1 sale up to 15 sales per day. So an 'average' day means, network-wide, 40+ sales. A "good" day and it's closer to 100 sales per day.

Since Sunday (the 1st day of the billing week for CCBill) until this very second:
11 sales in 3 days, network-wide.

Traffic is the same (even UP in some cases).

Finally, knowing that I would have a TON of traffic hitting today (20,000+ uniques) hitting my best-converting website (Fellucia Blow) I switched my Cascade from CCBill to Epoch at midnight (Tuesday). Wake up, 8,000+ uniques.....2 sales.

With that kind of traffic we would expect 15+ sales.

So i switched back to CCBill 2 hours ago. 35 form hits = 0 sales.

Denials HAVE been off the charts lately but this is fucking insanity. I did this test today/last night, with this website with these traffic sources because, if this were a month ago, even two weeks ago, we would've seen mass sales. NOTHING has changed in the above equation - NOTHING - and when you have months and months of data, over 2 million visitors, etc that proves incredible machine-like consistency then THIS happens you know something is very, very fucked up (with both CCBill and Epoch).


Today? Bullshit.

So i dunno guys....time to ask Tony Parra for some Subway applications.

Yes Epoch - but just to tell them I'm switching the cascade BACK to CCBill after seeing 180+ form hits and only 2 submissions/approvals. LOL Jesus - 187!!!! We should've had ten minimum sales from those kinds of form hit numbers.

But when it comes to contacting CCBill or Epoch to complain or inquire I get the feeling their phones are ringing off da hook, as the kidz say, so MY calling would just add to the cacophony.

Bottom line here: Like many who enjoy the convenience and the trust companies like CCBill and Epoch (and others) can provide for people, being able to completely control the submission process is looking more and more like the way to go. So if CCBill, Epoch et al don't want to see a massive flood of Paysite/Program Owners fleeing their companies and going to NATS or even their own merch accounts these guys better lower the scrub, increase their put-throughs, ease off on the fraud detection 0 tolerance they seem to have now and MAKE US OUR FUCKING MONEY.

Or we'll just take hundreds of thousands - to - millions of dollars away from them. For 14.5 - 11.5% we get THIS kind of ratios? Ridiculous.

I see EXACTLY the same sales pattern with my websites. I use CCBill.
I tried Epoch but I hated it.

Lately -since 2 months- I have seen a lot of denials from CCBill.
I don't even bother writing or phoning them. I allready know the answer. :

I guess it is time to switch to another processor but I wonder if it will make a difference.
