She was a grown woman. There's a little thing called "Freedom" that still raises it's pesky head every once in a while. You can NOT force anybody to do or not do anything. You can sit back and make your smarmy remarks about "profit"...but I can tell you that NOBODY wants a girl on pills to work for them. Prescription drugs are the worst shit in the world.

But why don't you please explain to all of us just how YOU would stop another adult from doing anything she wants?

Well you caught me. I did know she had a problem with pills, but i thought this would have been a bad place to bring that up. Doesn't mean she was a bad person.

I did shoot her a few times and she was sweet and a pleasure to work with. That is the truth. Her issues with pills is nobodies business and doesn't detract from this tragic event.

This is sad news, I was stunned when I found out over the weekend.

For you idiots out there that want to jump on Ami as an avid pill pusher remember the coroner's report of no drugs in her system. Just because someone "uses pills" doesn't mean she's a drug addict. She may have been but let's not all assume it because some guy said so at AVN who shot her a year ago. Many of you drink at shows or socially, does that make you an alcoholic? Maybe you smoke a joint now and then, does that make you a drug addict?

I get that you THINK everybody in this business is either a drug addict or a scumbag. But you're wrong. Maybe if you came out and actually met some people in this business you might have a different impression.

I can tell you that I made my living in music for over 20 years...and it makes the porn biz look like a monastery. My brother is a car salesman. Those guys are the biggest drug addicts and whore chasers on the planet. (I kinda respect them for that)

But this young girl apparently had a medical condition. And so what if she liked to party? Yeah, I think that prescription pills are evil because they are so addictive. But for God's sake...she was 19 years old. I don't know what you did when you were 19, but I was having the time of my life.

I don't have statistics in front of me...but IF there were any reliable statistics (and I don't think it's possible to gather that info with any precision), I'd bet that people in the porn biz are LESS likely to have the problems that society as a whole have.

Huggles, I have met a lot of folks in this business and gotten to know them. The thing I'm always struck by is how "normal" they are. You made it sound like only porn girls who are 19 take prescription pills. Nope. That shit is running wild amongst "civilians" in case you somehow missed the news.

And if that poor girl had shown up on a set fucked up on pills...the shoot wouldn't take place. NOBODY wants to try and direct a girl who is fucked up. Nobody.
