Not too sure if i would like it to be honest. Don't think i'd mix in too well...
Two things I would recommend:
Go north to a town called Sha-tin, and visit The Temple of Ten Thousand Buddhas Take a sailing junk charter out to one of the outlying islands for the day. Have Fun!! .:) |

wow, 60% parks! I didn't know that. Thought it was 99% buildings packed as tight as possible.
Was there last year, and the W Hotel has the highest outdoor pool in the world. Was great fun and the clubs were great too

It looks super impressive now...how many storeys is the tallest building in that pic? Anyone know? |
The best time to visit Hong Kong is in the fall. It's really hot and humid there in the summer.
The back streets of Kowloon have wood carving shops that turn entire trees into dragons. Their work is the best in the world.....bar none. Search them out and bring home something really awesome.
heading out there soon :)
I recommend u to leave the room and go for a walk and eating an NO INTERNET
Macau is an hour away and the biggest hotel casinos in the world. I've been to both many times. Ocean Parks aquarium has no equal, anywhere.
I've been there twice. Great place. Macau is nice too. Definitely check out the peak in HK and Lantau Island.
Pirate capital of all designer things in the world. I wished I was there :thumbsup
Going to get there, probably next year...
It's an amazing place. I took my kids a few years ago and they absolutely loved it.
Make sure you try the famous Roast Goose at the Yung Kee Restaurant. Yum... I want to go back there just for that ;) |
I never knew HK was hot year round....
Where did you stay in HK? Where is a good, REASONABLY PRICED hotel in central HK for example? Im talking no more than $100 per day. |

'Central' is actually a distict of HK - it's the island. The Kowloon side, however (Tsim Sha Tsui) is a very 'central' location. Reality is, everywhere is no more than 5 / 10 mins away on the MTR or Tram. I've found 4 star hotels in central for ~90 - 120 per night. There are also single / double room accomodations in Jordan (near TST etc) for $30US a night. All depends on what you want. |
Property is so expensive in HK right?
Can you get any good flat in a good area in HK? |
Hong Kong is without doubt my favorite place.
Kowloon = shoppers paradise also other side of Hong Kong has indoor/outdoor markets and the bus takes you right there.
Was there is early 90's and Bugle Boys Jeans were $25 |
have fun. My cousin just came back from Hong Kong and loved it.
to much smog
