This isnt always true. As said, I have owned a boat & did not lose a cent. We lived in a lovely harbour in Spain, enjoying every moment of it.
When I sold the boat, I sold it for the same price as I paid. Maybe I was lucky, but if you buy it for the right price you can sell it for the right price.
With mooring fees, electric & water rates are obviously included, making living costs reasonably low. Obviously petrol, or diesel is a price, but its well worth it compared to spending on flights & accomadation :2 cents:
Natalie & I can work as we travel on film or live camshows & still use the pc & laptop for connections to our server. It was only a suggestion, but for $500 a month, its a good life in the med on a boat :winkwink:
