One thing to note, owning a car is ridiculously expensive. My 2004 Mercedes SL550 cost me $550,000. Luckily I got most of it back when I sold it and headed back to North America

That's true but the standard of living when it comes to cars is expensive. FYI, I just found a local ad online for a Suzuki Swift (yes those shitty $2000 cars here) cost $75,000 there.

Can you imagine driving that around? It would be embarrassing. I would rather spend the extra 500K and drive around in luxury. Although I was lucky to recooperate most of it minus 40K when I sold it off later. :winkwink:

Almost anything food wise in Singapore is good in my opinion. I gained 20lbs in 2 weeks while I was there. And I was at the gym every 2nd day there. That's what I miss most about Singapore, the food :)
