I just think he likes Mike better than me and started off by answering his. |

Why? Because he is a savvy businessman, and that's what savvy businessmen should be doing today. How does it work? It's a simple 5 step process -- Just: 1) shoot me an email with the .GiveQMoney domains you'd like to register 2) send me $59.94 per domain desired via PayPal, as a sign of good faith that you will pay the remaining 3 cents once the domains become active 3) I jot down your desires on a post-it note that I keep next to my monitor. 4) Then, when .GiveQMoney becomes a reality, just hit me up -- by then I will have an address in the Caymans where I can be reached during QBidniz Hours (defined as between 1:07 and 1:09 Pacific Time, Tuesday through Slightly Later on Tuesday -- or a "QBidniz Day") 5) Your .GiveQMoney domains will be active and ready for you to start working on them... within 90 QBidniz Days. And voila!! Just like that, you are in business.... the business of giving me money. So simple, so elegant, so clearly necessary to the continued well being of the greater adult entertainment industry. |
Mr. Helmy and Mr. South are masters of generating publicity and interest.
I wish somebody of import would "feud" with me so I could get a little extra talk about the things I'm doing. Arguing with guys like "fris" doesn't do anything. :1orglaugh |

it looks really bad and since no one can be trusted in this business, i have my doubts. giving that guy a platform to try to get some false support is bullshit. |

That's why Mike and Helmy make the big money while I am merely a pissant. :( Those guys are marketing geniuses! :pimp |

I've written several op/ed pieces in opposition to .XXX, and made it very clear in my comments to ICANN that I don't like the idea. I think .XXX is without purpose in its current 'voluntary' form, and outright pernicious if it were to somehow become mandatory for adult site operators to use .XXX. At any rate, I'll stop with my foolishness and allow you guys to continue uninterrupted in asking Alec questions.... that he will never answer to your satisfaction. The reason I say that is that Connor has been pressing Alec on these subjects literally for years, and he hasn't been answered to his satisfaction; my sense is that it won't happen in this thread, either. :2 cents: |

congrats on all the extra traffic to your article, Mike. :)

Alec, It seems this is not the first time it has been mentioned about you supporting the .xxxtld movement. So then I gather that the ASACP is on board with pushing .xxx through? If so, what is in it for the ASACP? I would love to know how the ASACP can donate "X" amount of dollars for each .xxxtld sold with out any return, after all, this is a business and no one does anything for the "good will of it"....... it's all about return. |
Oh, I'm not pressing Alec on the .XXX thing... I mean, what's he gonna say? I asked him once, and he plead the fifth, so to speak, so I don't expect him to say much on that. I was just honestly curious about the rumor I heard about there being an ASACP "Board" that sits ABOVE the Advisory Council in terms of the chain of command. I've always wondered if that was true or not. So many rumors in this industry, it's hard to know what to believe.
I didn't think that was a tough question... if there is such a Board, the answer is "Yes," and if there isn't such a Board, the answer is "No." If there is a Board, I'm just curious who's on it, since Boards generally control organizations such as these. I know I used to be really active with the .XXX cause, and I follow it with interest, but I've long since given up on the .XXX thing with regards to adult companies. That domain name is toxic, and I personally will never support it. I believe most adult companies understand this, and the industry has made it clear that it doesn't want the .XXX extension. So, if it DOES happen, then Lawley likely managed to successfully play "behind the scenes" politics. Games like these usually come down to leverage. |

Nobody can explain to me how this whole ordeal is nothing more than a scam to generate millions of dollars. $60 for a domain name is ridiculous, Verisign's pricing is already close to gangbang rape let alone this pricing model.

you may have some clandestine way of how money gets back to you, but it gets back to you in some way, shape , or form... :2 cents: i knew you were supporting this bullshit a long time ago, but i still cant figure out why you would be doing it for $2 a domain.. i think people just want to know what your reasons are for supporting this. . |

I'm shocked you people give two shits about .xxx and some guy trying to make some underhanded money or some other companies business dealing... or anything with this.
It's sad, you people sound pathetic and jealous. Calling it how I see it... |

If whoever did invest in .xxx - it's not any of our concerns. People getting mad at others investments. Let's just say I'm glad people don't normally judge us by our investments - most of us wouldn't have any friends. Sooo, what is the big issue with .xxx? Did the guy scam someone, is it fear or maybe he owe's someone money, in the mob or is he just some douche bag that people want to hate so they do? |
