Sorry for your loss Tom, I feel with you. Last year my cat "Lucky" died, which I had for almost 17 years.

I just wanted to thank everyone for their kind words...

Sorry for the loss man... Now is probably not the time, but soon it will be. I am a firm believer in the replacement pet. The hole in the heart left by a passing friend can be shallowed down a little by a nice trip to the local rescue and helping another find a good home.

Really sad. I have an aging dog that I worry about.
